I've kind of lost track of the NBA/NHL playoffs. Wasn't sure of Collision was up against them this week.

Panthers vs Rangers was Saturday night, plus all the College Baseball Regionals going on.

I know. Very perplexing. And it was a pretty darn good show.

WB needs to market and distribute the show differently. Collision has been bleeding viewers overall for a while. Why they don't have episodes on Max is beyond me. Rolling ROH into it would be a boon for everyone too imo.

Still, rumblings now say the new TV deal will make AEW profitable. Given the uncertainty of the TNT/NBA deal it looks like WB doesn't want to lose AEW. Maybe after that gets done some things will change for Collision.

I might check this out Sunday. I haven't kept up with NXT in a minute or two,but this might be worth watching. I don't see Trick keeping the belt to be honest. He doesn't come off as a long term champion.

I'm also looking forward to seeing what else AEW has in store for Forbidden Door.

I don't put a whole lot of stock into what Dave Meltzer has to say so take it as you will. It could explain Jordynne Grace showing up on NXT. Maybe this is why D'more was replaced,and could have been the plan all along.

Personally,I hope not because I still get enjoyment from watching TNA,and enjoy alternatives to WWE.

I'm not upset about Ospreay vs. Rey Fenix at all! That is going to be a banger! Although I think Ospreay would have a killer match with any of those who were involved in that match. Wouldn't have minded seeing Ospreay and OC run it back.

I thought we were going to see an intergender match with Stat and OC. I think those two could really pull it off.

Was good to see Yuta back, even though he's still a slimy little worm haha. Fun match.

The Acclaimed and EVPs thing feels a little forced, but okay.

The Learning Tree is starting to "grow" on me.

The Toni stuff is indeed getting weird.

That suplex onto the ring apron by Strong to Swerve was nasty.

It makes you wonder with with Jordynne wearing "NXTNA" on her ring gear. Could be Anthem plans to sell TNA and lean into its partnership with NJPW.

Still, I don't know of any promotion that has been left for dead only to claw it's way back out of the grave more often than TNA.

Nothing not to like about Fenix vs Ospreay. That's gonna be a high wire act.

Ok, Bryan Keith telling Cool Hand to "make sure that baby respects Chris Jericho" made me laugh.

One of the better outings for the CMLL contingent. Every time they impress me it has to do their mat/submission style. I wouldn't have called that.

Excellent match between Swerve and Roddy. As much as I like Ospreay, I hope they leave the belt on Swerve a bit longer.

Rampage felt like an old episode of Dark last night. There weren't really any matches where the outcome was in question, other than the main event. It was good to see Juice back. Penta and Butch had a decent match.

I'm kind of surprised they picked Deeb for the main event. I understand wanting to put Mina over. But Serena eating a clean pin on Rampage right after a world title match at Double or Nothing? Can't say I'm a fan of that booking. I guess Mina is going to go after Toni's belt. But losing on the "C" show to a newcomer feels like Deeb fell off a cliff.

Yeah,I didn't catch Rampage,but did hear about Mina beating Deeb. I didn't think it was a good decision either coming off the recent PPV. There's plenty of talent that could have taken that loss to Mina to build her up outside of Deeb. I wasn't a fan of that.

Rough match for Johnny against Rhodes. Dustin played the first botch off well. But TV just looked awkward in there. Also awkward, Tony doesn't seem to know the name of Dustin's finisher or a code red from a Canadian destroyer.

Mariah has got to turn on Toni soon.

Not sure what's funnier, Joe calling Shibata "Speak and Spell" or Daddy Magic's commentary on Captain pasley pants.

Agreed on all points. Really weak show. And indeed a very curious book for Deeb. It was a fantastic match, but man. Just odd.

Not sure I understand Johnny being a jobber. He's too good. But I kind of get it to set up the angle with Dustin. Good promo as always from Dustin. He can set a match for sure.

If there is any wrestler in WWE that could benefit from a move to AEW, it's Ricochet. Tony would be mental not to go after him. Especially with Balor off the table.

And regarding announcing for Collision. Where is Joey Styles? I feel like he would be a much better fit with AEW than in WWE. That just seemed like a bad match from the get go.

Well,I realize why I don't watch these NXT PLEs often. While I thought Page would beat Trick Williams(he didnt), I only watched the Jordynne Grace/ Roxanne Perez match. The finish to the match was a bit off and anticlimactic. Tatum Paxley tried to steal the belt and Ash by Elegance (Dana Brooke) came out for the distraction. I guess Paxley is going to be the open challenge for Grace.

Another tidbit..... I noticed every match went under 15 minutes according to Wikipedia. I guess it was just filler outside of one match,and a special episode of NXT.

Outside of that,I was more interested in college baseball to catch the rest of the show. It doesn't sound like I missed much.

Styles retired in 2016. He got in trouble for an off color joke involving Trump and got let go from his indie gigs.

Always liked Styles on commentary. He was epic in ECW with the Oh My God lines. Good times
