I think face Cena finishing his career with heel Gunther is a good play, I’m just not sure exactly how to get there. Do you put a belt on Cena and have him drop it to Gunther, or do you have Cena challenge for the belt in his final match?

Edit: Why bring all that up? I think it might factor into the Jey/Gunther outcome. I don’t think Cena wins at WM since his stated plan is to retire with the belt and we know that’s not happening.

Unless there’s a double swerve at the conclusion of Cena beating Cody, only for the Rock (or perhaps Seth) turning on Cena and setting up a program for face Cena to either win or defend the belt against them.

Could be. He entered as a heel, might go out that way but getting cheered in his final match will be awkward. A turn in his last match might happen naturally, i.e. Rock/Hogan, but even Ric Flair, the best heel of all time, went out as a face in his “retirement” match.

I think he wins Sunday, we have heel Cena for a few moments, then he turns on The Rock maybe around SummerSlam, and somehow Rhodes gets the title back. Cena isn’t retiring as a heel.

Cobb is a beast in Japan but he isn't going to be bigger than everyone in WWE. I'm curious to see how that goes.

Just got done with Hangman and Alexander. Awesome show so far. Athena and Mone was great. I want them to get a longer match. Mone had the grab of the tights on the pin.

And Hangman got a fast count. So weird to see Josh Alexander in AEW lol. Pretty excellent swerve there.

Hurt Syndicate vs GoA was a good physical match. I think GoA is destined to hold the belts at some point. They better hurry though. They are the kind of team that WWE would love.

The segment with MJF after was great! Major Flair vibes. Also Attitude Era vibes haha.

Good to see Roppongi Vice reunited. The Don Callis family grew by leaps and bounds this week. Guessing they're the next big heel faction as The Deathriders finally appear to be crumbling.
