That's all some people can do, deflect blame, instead of admitting they're wrong. That's our society now. We know someone who cleaned houses, got caught on camera stealing, and they found stuff from several places when they arrested her. After she made bail she posted on Facebook, "you don't know the story, so you can't judge". Reading her whole post, she absolutely was deflecting blame.
