Did Wedohwood also say it?
I've worked for Lazy Boy for 35 years and your friend is spot on. I may even know them. I can remember when everything we built was under full warranty. Everything was made in the USA. Now it's assembled in the USA.No sir, Lazy Boy does not make the chair that they used to, I was told by someone that I used to work
with that used to be an inspector at Lazy Boy for 32 years that they cut cost in 95 and just don't make the
chair that they used too.
Doesn't surprise me. Our order of reclining couches in 2020 were delivered in crap condition. The delivery guys claimed that's how they are supposed to look. Uh ok.No sir, Lazy Boy does not make the chair that they used to, I was told by someone that I used to work

Do you know if anyone that ever worked there just started their own company and made it the old way?I've worked for Lazy Boy for 35 years and your friend is spot on. I may even know them. Bet it was the right side sitting. They screw a piece of crappy pressed wood to that side and ship it on its end standing up.Doesn't surprise me. Our order of reclining couches in 2020 were delivered in crap condition. The delivery guys claimed that's how they are supposed to look. Uh ok.
Dealing with corporate was a pain. They acknowledged crappy furniture with the photos I emailed and their suggestion was to replace ends of the couches that were damaged. I declined. It took me drafting a small claims suit and emailing the CEO that I was going to file the suit with the court to finally get them to pick them up and fully refund.
