The Zone Edition: Face with screen name thread.

Yeah, but I thiefed it first, so it got dibs. And don't you all remembe weedoo talking bout weiners during my kidney stone? That's only defense I have for saying it now 🤣
I thought @Behr was the one who said it was a short trip to pass it.
Did Wedohwood also say it?

No sir, Lazy Boy does not make the chair that they used to, I was told by someone that I used to work
with that used to be an inspector at Lazy Boy for 32 years that they cut cost in 95 and just don't make the
chair that they used too.
I've worked for Lazy Boy for 35 years and your friend is spot on. I may even know them. I can remember when everything we built was under full warranty. Everything was made in the USA. Now it's assembled in the USA.

Doesn't surprise me. Our order of reclining couches in 2020 were delivered in crap condition. The delivery guys claimed that's how they are supposed to look. Uh ok.

Dealing with corporate was a pain. They acknowledged crappy furniture with the photos I emailed and their suggestion was to replace ends of the couches that were damaged. I declined. It took me drafting a small claims suit and emailing the CEO that I was going to file the suit with the court to finally get them to pick them up and fully refund.

Lazy boi bought out england corseir, I know I spelled wrong, but it was just across the line from where I'm from in Kentucky. That's all I know about that 🤣

I had a chance to buy a vintage Lazy boy from like the 70's or so from a older lady that was moving from our neighborhood. It was kinda teal blue but leather...still that thing was built like a tank, and hardwood and steel underneath. I thought she was asking too much at the time, and wasn't crazy about the color, but now I wish I had bought it. OLD Lazy boy stuff was awesome.

Do you know if anyone that ever worked there just started their own company and made it the old way?

Bet it was the right side sitting. They screw a piece of crappy pressed wood to that side and ship it on its end standing up.

Not sure what is crazier to me that this was 10 year ago when it seems less, or that The Walking Dead started THAT long ago.
