There is always an excuse for an Ohio State loss...

Any where in that surrounding area does :)

If I could provide some simple advice it would be: MOVE! :)

I've been told to move more times than I can count; I always tell them I'm needed so I can bring some amount of intelligence to the college football landscape in Columbus.

I moved from Tenn to Ohio in 1970 and it raised the average IQ of both states.

That article is dumb. We got out played, period. They DID fumble that first scoring drive, into the end zone. That was obvious on the replay in the stadium.....but we could have challenged and didnt for some odd reason. OSU plays in a weak conference, and got exposed. Period.
"we", "we","we"........exposed is accurate:rock:

I've got a funny one, my brother's Basketball coack told him that if Florida and Ohio State played four more times, that OSU would have won all four.

I don't know how OSU fans do it every year, but they are the world's finest at self-deception.

First of all let me say it's wonderful to see so much Vol support in Ohio. I'm about 40 minutes east of the Scarlet and Gray epicenter of Columbus.

It never ceases to amaze me that no matter what the circumstances OSU can do no wrong. But the real reason I root for them to lose each and every week is the argument that the SEC is inferior to the Big Ten. It's funny I never hear other Big Ten schools say that.

Florida did to them what any SEC school would have. Even after that loss however, their fans contend that they would dominate the SEC - please they'd be lucky to finish with a .500 record year in and year out.

The OSU fans make me want to stab them in the eye with a fork! Go VOLS! OSU SUCKS!

I was at Buffalo Wild Wings on the Strip after last weeks game...

When OSU lost there was an OSU fan who immediately started yelling "Big 10, Big 10" and "At least I ain't a Tennessee fan"..

It was one of the biggest "sore loser" displays I have ever seen...

His wife even said to him "Honey, shut up, you look ridiculous"

I lived in N.Central Ohio for 12 yrs. and I couldn't even find UT scores in the newspaper. All I heard was how great the big10 was and SEC schools were inferior. Well you can imagine how great our win over OSU was. My wife went to OSU, so it was doubly good.

I would to see what OSU would do if Michigan beats them in the last seconds of the game with a phantom catch ;ala jabar gaffney

Since you brought that up, I've often wondered: If Gaffney had been on the two yard line instead of in the end zone, would the officials have called it a catch and fumble? Think about it.

If anything this "mistake" might have saved them from another massacre in the national title game....LSU/Oregon/OK would absolutely destroy them....

If OSU was as good as advertised, they wouldn't have let a team like Illinois(no disrespect) stick around and beat them. Don't blame it on the refs.

Why would the Big Ten assign the crew -- a few of whom could be fired for their work in the Purdue-Penn State game -- to a game of this importance?

I'll bet The Zooker is loving it now that Illinois is considered to be an "important" game. :clapping:

I hated to see the Zooker leave Florida almost as much as I hated to see Ray Goff leave Georgia. If somehow we could get our adversaries to bring back such quality coaching, we could enjoy being the OSU of the SEC.

GO BLUE!

OSU won today, nothing is safe in Columbus right now, and I may cry if OSU sneaks back into the national title game.
