when Bama and LSU BOTH endured as much suckage as we have, and for longer than we have, recently. Before Saban came into the picture for both LSU (first) and then to Bamer....BOTH teams were as easily as bad as what we've been seeing with our team.

The bottom line is, we needed to get the right coach...and there won't be an immediate turn around. Didn't Saban lose 6 games his first year at Bama? Because of his past success, he was able to convince enough talent to come to Bama.

I think Butch is in a similar position....but we need to find a way to come away with home wins against UGA and USCjr, and Auburn...so he can solidify his sales pitch to recruits.

If they can develop Worley enough to be even slightly above average, and maybe mix in one of the freshmen in certain packages...to get them some valuable SEC experience, and give us some big plays....then this could still be a successful first year for CBJ to build on.

Remember, TAM, too started off early in the SEC with 2 losses. So, put away the Jim Jones and Coke. No need to slit your wrists. There is much football still to be played.

There's no way on earth we beat UGA or USC. Are you on LSD?

Oh the good ole days. I have to tell my kids that we really were relevant not too long ago. I hope Sgt Carter can get us back there.

Neither of them are juggernauts, by any stretch of the imagination. We have out-recruited the chickens the past 5 years, despite our record. And even with the worst defense in UT history, we should have come away with a win against them last year...in their own house. Same thing with UGA. You're the one on hallucinogens if you think we have no shot at either team...at home. Again, both of them outranked us when we played them in 2009 and they both got soundly beat by us.

Ya I forgot we have Johnny Manziel as our QB
At this juncture last year, none of us had any idea who Johnny Manziel was. The point is, they rebounded instead of slitting their wrists and getting drunk on the Jim Jones cyanide-flavored juice like half the fanbase has, here. Crompton looked just as bad as Worley or Peterman at this stage in the year, in 2009. But he surprised us all in the UGA game. All the naysayers were counting their losses, just like you are...and then both UGA and USCjr had a 6-pack of whoop-a$$ pulled out on 'em, in Neyland Stadium.

Kiffin did....with less talent. We looked every bit as bad early.
With less talent? Eric Berry ALONE is better than anything we have now...give me a break. Don't forget Janzen Jackson, D. Moore, Hardesty, Bryce Brown...Kiffin did not have LESS talent...
