The implication is that Chris Low is both fat and stupid. He's not stupid because he's fat, he just happens to be both. Personally, I don't consider either of those things to be positive attributes.

It does make me pause that he hasn't done better at Miami, scandal or no scandal. He did resurect Temple but had 3 losing seasons there prior to a winning season. Don't think most VOL fans are willing to wait that long after 4 out of 5 losing seasons and 7-6 under Kiffin in 2009. Bottom line is as a head coach he has a losing record.

Charlie Strong has a winning record as head coach. So he is a valid candidate, Kirby Smart has done well at Alabama with all that talent its tough to correlate that DC with the most talent in the country will translate into a winning coach at UT with considerably less talent. The thing is, I thought with all that intelligence Dooley would pan out but he definitely did not. Give me someone with passion that can recruit lights out convince parents that their son is in good hands. I get the feeling that not that many players were all that sorry to see Dooley get axed. He didn't connect didn't inspire players to play above their God given talent. And since Kiffin left us with 2 more years of probation must be squeaky clean in recruiting or UT could face. Obviously, Gruden is my top pick or if Jimbo could be convinced to leave Florida State he would be right behind him. I like Gundy, winning coach, doesn't know SEC though, its tough hope Hart makes the right choice and as a bre minimum make a bowl game and play better ball next year.

Any thoughts on Dave Doeren from Northern IL? Not a big name hire in anyway but could be an exceptional value and has all the makings of an excellent candidate. Although only 2 seasons in, his record is 21-4 and they beat Akron this year 37-7. The MAC is not the SEC but the guy spent most of his career at DC for Wisconsin. Myer (although a D-bag) also got his start in the MAC and he's turned out OK.

Hey Pie, didn't Gruden's counteroffer demand for the lazy Boy include a motorized platform to get it to and from the sidelines to his office? I wasn't sure about that, but thought you might know the details.

i would take Strong all day he got a 5 star Qb to Louisville an his team plays hard. He knows the SEC and has been under some great coachs Myer Holtz and he has a winning record in a BCS conferance.

Dang,bro. Cut him some slack. I aint getting any tonight either,but you don`t see me blasting a dude for just trying to be helpful. Hell,we can`t ALL be right and know it all. And fat jokes people? I was hoping to read some info on my vols,like my pal was trying to share,not see a bunch of 7yr olds arguing. If you`re a Tennessean,you shouldn`t be that big of a dick*8**8 or dummy.
