Things built, torn down and other projects.(Pictures)

I need that!

It’s in a neighborhood where the HOA requires any structures to match the house. That building is for the purpose of storing a riding lawnmower and garden tools. It has Hardi siding and a brick foundation.

Edit: and can’t be seen from the road.

Ours was like that, but not so sure now. That's about the color I need, looks like it anyway.

Yep, nice gee-rog. I'm impressed with how fast it was built. Especially since I know he doesn't use no damn Mexicans.

Had a visitor on the job today, grey rat snake. Turned him loose where he wouldn't get hurt when I burn this in a few days.

And now it's down to this. This one has been a pain in the rear. Learned some new things on this one. That's the thing about this type of work, every job is different.

I made a couple mistake in evaluating this barn, has more poplar in it than I like and I missed it while spot checking it. No one's fault but mine.

I didn't get into too much detail on this job as I had a bunch of stuff going on outside of it.

But I'll try to do better on my next one.

I may be going to Illinois to take down a timber frame barn built in the mid 1800's.

First true timber frame I will have done, and I will definitely need to rent equipment for that one.

I have part of the loft floor left, a few joists and some sill beams to take out. It's about done.

All that hay was a pain in the butt too. I bet there was 1500 bales on the loft.

I will seriously consider refusing the next one if the loft is full.

No fawking way I'd be on that roof! Makes my feet hurt just looking at that pic. Lol

Had a spar min or two before vacation so I built this deck. Some may remember the wall repair a few weeks back.
