Things I'm happy about today

I'm happy that I turned in my 2 week notice and begin a position in the private industry for $20k more per year. Been in the public sector for the last 15 years and just sick and tired of the beurocracy and political crap (has continually got worse each year) . Hoping and praying this is where I'll be until retirement 🙏🏻

Welcome to the good side

I rid myself of two gas powered tools today - a small 2-cycle rototiller with a weak spring for rewinding the pull cord and a 2-cycle power head for an assortment of Expand-It tools. I already have electric replacements.

Coda: As a kid, I started the 4-stroke gas lawnmower using a rope with a knot and a handle. No spring-loaded pull cord for that sucker. I'll bet that if my family had kept it, it would still be working just fine, today.
