I have been waiting a while to be able to post this. My wife is half way through chemo as of yesterday. Took her 4th treatment today. Last Friday she got her mid-way PET Scan. This morning we got the news from the Oncologist.......GVG said he actually SMILED! She is cancer free and we will be done in 9 weeks. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers because I BELIEVE that prayers are answered daily. My wife is a living example of this. She literally was 3 - 4 days from "not making" it and now I have her back for awhile longer.

Glad its Saturday... day 1 of 4 off. Have several rose bushes and shrubs to stick in the ground shortly... first though, a couple mugs of coffee.

Got the grass cut.... then I turned on sprinklers. Did not know where the zones were so I mapped each one. Found 16 zones, and a total of 77 sprinkler heads. That's a lot. They all are firing fine so should be good to go for summer watering. I am on a shared well, and there is no charge for water (one time yearly fee of 350.00)... no water restrictions. I set the schedule for every other day.

I got a chance to sneak off and go fishing with an old friend today. We absolutely wore the fish out. I have no idea how many we caught. Nothing big. Our biggest Bass was around 5 lbs. But we caught at least 30 fish in four hours fishing. Man, it was great to see Ken and kick some Bass.
