By all accounts we a facing a far different offense than we did last Saturday.

Since FL doesn't have a high powered O with a half dozen Usain Bolt's at WR, we should be able to utilize man coverage more correct?

We Can't let Driskel look like another all-american by getting burned. The DB's and LB's have to maintain discipline in their pass coverages.

We Can't turn the ball over. Obvious and has not been a bad problem this season, but one or two TO's could be a disaster in what "should" be a fairly close game.

We Can't fail to get some pressure on the QB! Driskel seems to get flustered easily (by all accounts) and this is where we could create some TO's for us! Maybe Jacques helps some here.

We Can't go 3 and out a dozen times like we did against OR. This was the main thing we could not do against them and ....well we know how that went. If just a couple more drives could be extended, maybe we can stay in it till the end???

Unfortunately, we Can't depend on Worley to lead this Off against a good SEC defense. Please Dear Lord somebody step up and do well this week and "TAKE" the starting QB position.

As for the rest, run game, run D, WR's etc. who knows??

I do know one thing though, I AM SICK AND DAMN TIRED OF LOSING TO FLORIDA!!!!!

Come on Butch and Company and win one for the Chilmont...Gipper...Type...Guy!!

To paraphrase Maxine Waters. "GO VOL BEAT GATA!"

personally i dont think we can play man coverage with them having a mobile qb...id expect a lot of zone blitzes and that sort of deal to try to confuse driskel and not let him run

Nothing combustible but you probably stated everything the coaches have told the players. Rest assured all the coaching staff and players know the history. I also get the "sick and damn tired of losing to Florida."

GO VOLS! BEAT THE GATORS!!

Here's another thing we can't do on Saturday.... win. Sorry, but this team just isn't ready yet. Just wanna see them compete, fight through the adversity that's coming, close the game out strong. Show they have some mental toughness.

Look this team has to win even if they aren't ready. We desperately need to be in a bowl this season. We need those extra 15 practices to get better. I know it's CBJ first year but one surprise win is need to maintain recruiting. Ask Ole Miss how far that 6-6 season went for them.

We also need to turn North into a RB. Put him on toss plays sweeps whatever you get him the ball in space to run

Think I know what mean.... find creative ways to get the ball in his hands, out of the backfield if necessary at times, reverses, bubble screens, etc. You didn't really mean to turn him into a RB, right?

He had over 680 rushing yards and 18 rushing TD's his senior year in high school. Wouldn't hurt to maybe give him a couple of reps in some interesting packages.

Oh definitely. He's a playmaker. I just still want him making plays at WR, not RB.

People will jump all over me for not being patient or being negative, or whatever... but in my mind, this game is a defining moment in CBJ early tenure at UT. The outcome of the game may end up being a "L" no matter what, but how we arrive at that "L" means everything.

CBJ needs to go balls to the wall and not be as stubbornly conservative as we was in Oregon. Figure out a way to gain yards in unconventional ways. dont let up and more than anything else dont look friggin clueless on defense. I know Oregon's offense is great, but some of what happened in Oregon looked exactly like what happened all of last year in the 3-4 defense. Completely blown assignments. Wide receivers and tight ends being left completely wide open down field etc. That has nothing to do with talent differential and everything to do with coaching.

Regardless, the decisions and strategies employed in this game will go a long way in me deciding what CBJ really is. I'm not looking for a "W", but I am looking to see a team that looks nothing like a team coached by Derek Dooley.

This!

You only get so many chances to beat teams like Oregon. Don't be stupid and go for it every time, but take your shots early and often and maybe the Gators can be reeling by the start of the 2nd half.

To win, I think we should score more points than we allow.

To do that, UT can't give up more points than they score.

Statistics show that the team with the most points wins college football games every time regardless of recruiting, coaches, home field advantage, color of uniforms, ect.

Therefore, the two key factors are to score at every opportunity, and prevent Florida from scoring as much as us. If they can do that, everything else will work itself out.

I don't think its a defining win either I agree with you on that totally. I'm just saying it would make recruiting top talent a lot easier for us. The program really doesn't have the luxury to have 2 more loosing seasons. If we can get this game and a bowl all of a sudden we are being called a team that is on it's way back instead of a team that is still trying to get things right.

This one game and a bowl gives him leverage not only for the 2014 class but 2015
