Things you want to learn

I'd like to learn more computer stuff. I also want to learn fly fishing, never done it. I'm about to start trying soon though.

Orvis has free schools.
There worth every ... well they're free.

Don't let any one talk you out of a 9' or longer rod. Casting with my elbow near my beltline instead of overhead to keep the fly from snapping the water behind me let me wade into much deeper water
and fish longer without tiring. First rod was 8.5ft cause "you don't want to get caught in trees an bushes all the time" ... phhuuttt! Take your wife and get her into it too. A long johnson will make her happy too! ;-)

My uncle taught me and my brothers to fly fish as kids. In west tn not much stream or creek fishing so we would fly fish for bream with poppin bugs out of a john boat. Lots of fun.

I would like to learn to tie flies, but my eyes and fingers probably aren't up to the task. Can't hardly see to tie a plug on my line anymore.

I have a friend who can tie them.

I'd like to learn wood working milling skills. My grandfather did it and I still.have a couple pieces.of furniture he made. He would let me "help" when I was lite but he passed away before I was old enough for him to really teach me. It Is something I've been interested learning but didn't never had the space for the tools and such... until recently anyway. Now I just don't have the time.

Kydex holster and sheath making, I've gotten pretty good at leather working, and I'm making some rivet setters at work because the ones sold on websites for knife making and such are outrageously expensive , kydex sheaths are to expensive for a craftsman like myself to buy when I could just make them.
