Think about this (obvious in a way)

This...

A Florida team that is that is disapointed to be there and not in the Championship game against a UL team playing in the biggest game in their program's history.

Florida is a way better team and it's not close. With that said, I'm not at all surprised by the result of this game.

Florida has better talent EXCEPT at QB. Louisville is much better at QB.

Having a potential NFL QB helps alot.. We are going to what happens when you replace one in September. Our Offence is going to struggle next year, new coaching, QB and system..Remember everyone was stoked about the 3-4.

Florida got their rear handed to them. Don't know what can really be taken away from it. But, it wasn't fun.

Louisville offense moved at will regardless of down and distance.

Florida's offense, while not good with two dimensions, became one dimensional due to score.

Shocking to see defense shredded when so many 2nd and long, 3rd and long situations presented itself

Bridgewater is the real deal. Hard to shake him up. Charlie Strong didn't abandon the run, even when they were going backwards, and kept Florida honest on defense. Chaney was terrible when you think about it.
Now that Chaney works under a head that believes and lives by the run, there is no telling what the ceiling will be for Arkansas on offense.

Can't really compare the Cincy game and this game. If you want to do that.. look at Louisville only beating South Florida by 2 (they were 3-9) and UL lost to UConn that finished 5-7. Louisville was simply up and down all year.

Hmm were we all watching the same game?

I thought Florida, other than being their usual undisciplined team, played hard throughout. Their players were laying wood every hit, especially Elam, and they were jumping around pumped up, I don't think Florida ever quit in this game.

I've seen a certain team quit PLENTY of times in the last 3 years, so I feel like I know what it looks like. Lol But I felt it was a statement game for a new Heisman contender next year. Teddy Bridgewater was on point tonight! He was incredibly impressive. He always made the right read, and had great anticipation and timing with his receivers. I mean, he had one pass in the first half, 3rd and 10 and threads it between 3 Fl dbs and 1 UL wr! That was a beautiful throw!

I just never felt Florida quit. I thought Louisville and especially Bridgewater were just more impressive. So I agree with the OP. I give a lot more credit to Louisville, I feel they BEAT Florida. They were solid in every phase of the game.

That's all they were trying to do.. hit hard. They'd allow a catch if that meant they got to hit someone. They were not there to win, they were there to make Louisville pay for Florida not being in the Championship game.

I didn't get that feeling. To me they were exposed for what they truly were. They have no WR threat. They are unable to stretch the field on anyone. Also while they had one excellent DB Elam the rest of the DB's were average at best. Their front 7 is what won their games this year for them.

If that were true, we would have scored at will on them.

Hunter missed a wide open td and two 3rd down conversions and CP missed another wide open td. Also Chaney went too pass happy in the game.

Statistically speaking, UT and Louisville had similar run/pass attempts. Chaney didn't go pass happy until he panicked midway through the 3rd quarter.
