Hmm were we all watching the same game?
I thought Florida, other than being their usual undisciplined team, played hard throughout. Their players were laying wood every hit, especially Elam, and they were jumping around pumped up, I don't think Florida ever quit in this game.
I've seen a certain team quit PLENTY of times in the last 3 years, so I feel like I know what it looks like. Lol But I felt it was a statement game for a new Heisman contender next year. Teddy Bridgewater was on point tonight! He was incredibly impressive. He always made the right read, and had great anticipation and timing with his receivers. I mean, he had one pass in the first half, 3rd and 10 and threads it between 3 Fl dbs and 1 UL wr! That was a beautiful throw!
I just never felt Florida quit. I thought Louisville and especially Bridgewater were just more impressive. So I agree with the OP. I give a lot more credit to Louisville, I feel they BEAT Florida. They were solid in every phase of the game.
