I understand it isn't paid for by the same money. I'm just saying that it would be nice if we could generate and raise that kind of money for academics so students could enjoy top notch facilities also.
My understanding is that there is quite a bit spent on that side. There's lots of new state of the Art Academic buildings and money comes from private donors as well as the general fund which come from scholarships, tuition, the state, and the lottery.
Lots of money being spent all around.
This is impressive. I understand that this will be great from a recruiting perspective but it makes me kind of wish that the university put this kind of money behind academic aspects also. Not that I'm complaining...![]()
