Wow, how mature you guys are. I never stated anything about myself until pj said "I'll take you to the hole blah blah blah."

But, I'm talkin about the mutltiple threads bashing CBP and his inability to coach and how he should be fired. There wouldn't be a basketball program withouth Pearl.

The threads bashing Mcbee, I mean he is a walk on and stepped up huge against a #1 ranked team. What more can you ask?

We win and everyones thinking we're going to the final 4. We hit a rough patch and we start bashing players and coaches. That's what my complaint was about. Why belittle the people who are trying to rep Tennessee?

good grief it was a joke (but still fact) because we see at least 2 of these crap threads every day. If you don't agree CBP is doing the best coaching job in the country then obviously you know nothing about bball. When you start out like this it pretty much says "I know more than you"

It's called a joke dude. I don't think he was proposing that you two meet up and throwdown And 1 Mixtape style. And I'm sorry, but when you throw out the "I start on my high school team" comment, you deserve to get roasted.

how? Yes he hit the shot and I'm really glad he did but it was an off-balance attempt after he finally realized the clock was down to 3 sec. He was touted as a 3pt threat which he is not. He should not be getting the attempts he is and his purpose should be to get guys a breather or feed the ball down low to Chism. And from CBP's comments he will not have the walk-on excuse next year.

Why? It's a fact and an overweight 40 yr old internet hardass was talkin some smack. lol I can dig it and I know it's all in good nature, but how should I get roasted for defending myself.

There was a thread after the USC lost calling for his job.

Jerry Green, O'neil, and Buzz Peterson really put us on the map like Pearl did.......

And who else do you want to get the looks Mcbee is getting. I mean half our roster was depleted after new years so there wasn't much of a choice.

The best thing to do is just ignore them. If you really want info about the basketball team, just stick to the recruiting threads on this board and read the articles on TOS. Otherwise, you're fighting a losing battle. The self appointed experts have refined their arguments and travel in packs, so you're not going to win. You'll get hit with all this logic that, while sound, still is agenda-laden and frustrating to no end. You'll see with this thread that special brand of nice, I guarantee. They also don't mind having the same argument over and over and over and over and over.... ad infinitum.

But that's their prerogative and they're entitled to think and feel however they like. They have valid points, so save yourself the time and don't even get into it. If you are like most fans and think it's classless to bash players to the level of rancor on this board, then just don't get into it. I did once and it just got me pissed for no reason. You're not going to win, and do you think the players really give a flip about what lawyers that couldn't make the team at UT think anyways? I think not. Who the hell really wins a message board argument, anyways? The person that's on the message board day and night and has honed their little piece of hate, or the newby that wonders in to the trap?

people see shots at player's bball ability as personal shots. I'm sure JP is a good guy but he makes the most boneheaded plays around. Was that personal?

I'm just saying that about 90% of the guys here started on their high school team and the other 10% could have. It's not a good arguement when trying to prove that you have superior basketball knowledge.

Then link the thread cause I don't remember it. Plus it's not like there is a huge group calling for his ouster.

JG went to the tourney all 4 years. KO was on the right track and recently pounded Pearl's team. Please find anyone who wants Buzz back.

Chism, Maze, Hopson and even Bone are better shooting options than McBee IMO.

I don't know how you can call people fair weather fans when they use some of their free time posting on a message board. Fair weather fans are the ones that disappear when their team is struggling.
