What more can you say that hasn't been said thousands of time? There is no help on the way for 2016. We are in deep trouble. Please do not try to justify this loss by saying Arkansas also beat A&M. That is only an excuse for bad basketball. Are we excited about playing ND on Sunday or what?

We have had this thread too many times. Not criticizing you, just a shame this game is the same song just a different verse.

Well, Arkansas beat A&M... Can we blame it on the team's ranking? The two defeated teams had the ranking #13 and we all know how unlucky that number is.

I'm going to watch Monday night not because I think the LV can win...I'm going to watch to see how bad ND beats the LV. Only way TN has a chance is if Dave Hart lets the team travel to ND with an interim head coach. Hope he fires her when she steps off the plane at McGee-Tyson tonight.

I must have watched a different game tonight because my assessment is quite contrary to much of the game thread.

Our "star player" that no one else wants on the bench gave up 7 TO's tonight, not surprising since she had 6 and 7 TO's in her last 2 games. Am I the only one that recognizes that her offensive production is frequently erased by her TO's?

Jordan, who gets blamed for a lot, looks much, much better at the wing than she has at PG, and made a respectable contribution tonight.

Likewise, Nia did reasonably well.

Nared, Cooper, and Carter contributed nada.

Middleton is our best hustler and best passer. She needs to learn to shoot when she's open.

Graves, who really needs to embrace the role of senior leader, cannot do that from the bench with foul trouble.

Mercedes has unbelievably little court awareness.

Very little of this had anything to do with Holly.

It has everything to do with the coach.

Sorry the same old team the same old song and verse. I can promise you that the same old song will be song many times before the season is over, by many singers.

It has everything to do with Holly. She is the head coach and get's paid good money to coach this team to their greatest potential. It is obvious that she has no idea what to do with the talent she has setting on the bench. There is no leadership on this team and that reflects back on the head coach and staff. It's not going to get any better and can very well get worse. It's time to bring in a top coach and get the Lady Vols back where they belong, at the top.

If this had been a one-off or two-off game, I would be in your camp. But this kind of performance has become more the rule with games like Mizzou the exception.

The Lvs have dropped 2 of 3 against unranked conference opponents and had very poor outings against VT and Stanford.

We have an entire team that is under performing; we have a team that consistently forces bad passes-- is that just the players fault or a problem with the scheme?

I have been a Holly supporter over the years but there is no way to justify the job she and staff had doen this season.

All the hate holly people are on a roll as they usually are after a loss. They choose only to see what they want to see and to rationalize the reason for the loss as coachingÂ….period. I think there is more than enough blame to go around. Whatever put the players into a funk needs to be rooted out and dealt with. I doubt there is anyone on this board who really knows what the problem is with the lack of winning basketball play but they will continue to bash the coaches and disregard other potential, and just as likely, drivers for the poor play.

Stats always tell the story look no further than the stats to see why we have lost five games. Were actually lucky to have 11 wins with the pathetic way we have shot the ball and the enormous amount of turnovers versus assists that this team has created. This has to be on the coach. Players have to take shots they can make at least 40 percent of the time. What is the reason none of our highly touted guards can shoot 40 percent from the field. It is an embarrassment and coaches have to take the blame because if these players can't play better than they are now why were they recruited.?

It is more because of coaching than on players because of one thing.
Switch head coach's with UCONN/TENN just for the remainder of the season, and let that head coach impose their 'philosophy' with that team and see what happens.

The current UCONN players would tell the head coach to sit down and shut up, and continue to win like they're currently doing.

Message for Nared stop playing soft she has the skills but plays to soft. Now as for who is to blame ! I say the players and the Head Coach. If you watch Holly on the sideline all she do is jump up and down or stomp her feet. That`s not gonna cut it in changing the way the players play. I watched the game and not one time did she get into a players face to let them know that the way they are playing is unacceptable. The only coach on that staff that i have ever seen do that is Kyra Elzy to me she is the in your face coach that Pat was. I say turn the keys over to her.
