What if Beamer gets the axe at va tech? Hell, I think I actuallly just want Bud Foster who could stop the bleeding. I'll probably get a lot of folks who will yell at me for this post but oh well

And we would get a dual threat qb every year...

Beamer would have been a splash when Fulmer was fired, but not now.

I was just bored having fun. Never said I want Beamer (who has proven stability) was more so talking about getting a proven and very successful defensive minded coordinator in Bud Foster. I realize we need a big splash hire on the hill, this was just a playful hypothetical. So to you Ron mexico I say f off. You're actually delusional if you think we can get the choice of the cream of the crop. But don't worry reality will eventually set in for you buddy

Actually Gruden isnt as far fetched as you think. Its exactly what they want us to think and most believe there is no chance. But absolutely no to Beamer or Foster for HC. Beamer cant even win the ACC

Don't want him but Beamer has won the ACC three times in his 8 years in the conference. That's 3 more than we've won in 14 years.

Maybe we could just hire Beamer's goiter. His son Shane was a grad assistant here and could carry it around.

Grant is attached to Beamer's hip though so we would need a DC.

You hire someone because they recruit and win, not because of "stability"...

Beamer's a great coach, but he's too old and it's not happening. If he were 7-8 yeas earlier it would've been a home run, but not now.

Plus, they couldn't fire Beamer if they wanted too. He's up there with Bill Snyder for lifetime contracts.
