If you were not a Vol fan. Unfortunately it still evokes rage fueled rants on Volnation. There are many things we could have done better. All in all we have essentially given them the game many thought we would. I really wanted this to be our breakthrough game! We do not have the experience needed to handle a 3 or 4 ranked team. I know people are tired of hearing or but it is true! Now the play calling is not where it should be either. I hope the lack of play variety will change with gaining experience. It is hard to use all of your playbook when you cannot establish the run. I am glad our guys are still fighting in the fourth quarter! You have to be proud of a team that is not giving up! Go Big Orange!

Can we please remember that this game was optional.

How can fans continue to defend scheduling these games instead of a confidence building win?

I'm proud of our defense. I'm proud of Jalen Hurd. I'm not proud of our Oline. I'm not proud of our Offensive play calling and I'm really hoping these refs and Bob Stoops all get donkey punched in the nuts before the night is over.

Jeez. This is a beast of an OU team. We got our butts handed to us, but that was to be expected.

Chill out. There are some bright spots regardless of the final scoreboard numbers...

This argument is tired and just as wrong today as it was the first time someone tried it.

We have the ability to get out of any OOC game. Period. Just take a look at how we cancelled the UNC games or how Ohio State cancelled our series with them.

This program has not had a winning season in 5 years. We have not been to a bowl game in 4 years. It doesn't take much to realize that we need confidence building wins and bowl games more than embarrassing losses on national television.

So we just wuss out. If we just played Utah States when we were not playing in our conference, we would have no way to gauge our toughness when we do play other SEC teams. You have to play with the big dogs if you want a chance at the post season!

We could have won if we played a flawless game. Obviously we didn't, and our mistakes were big ones.

The talent gap (outside the Oline) isn't huge, though. And you can see it.

It was an improvement over Oregon debacle.

UT could have at least made a statement while losing. They didn't. Offense looked inept.

Gotta be honest guys, this one hurts more than the other big losses we've had in the past few years, because we actually had a legitimate shot to make it go down to the wire. Just another disappointment to add to the list I guess.

Proud of the D? 455 yards and giving up 6.8 per play? We played hard and didn't quit, but we didn't play well.

We are going to make noise in the SEC EAST. No East squad is anywhere near the level of OU.

We'll kick Vandy's ass but other than that I don't see a whole lot of East teams that are going to be real worried to play us. We should play KY tough.

LOL looked like he was peeping out of his chin strap. That was awesome. never seen that before. dude got rocked.

Kinda like Worley! Good game guys. You fought for 4 quarters. I know you're trying to rationalize how the score could have been closer but OU had an offsides which kept a UT drive alive, a face mask did also, and a punt fumble recovery. It was obvious to me Stoops did not try to rub it in because we basically ran up the middle the entire second half. Good luck the rest of the way. May you win the EAST!
