This is how it was supposed to go..

I don't think the game went how it was supposed to go. It was supposed to be worse. We should've gotten the fumble before half. It's 13-7 at that point and we have the ball with around 2 minutes left
We might not have scored, but we have momentum there. We could've went into the half down 3 or 6 or up by 1, not down by 13.
I saw blatant holds on several big plays by OU. We couldn't have been holding as much as Worley was getting hit.
Going in most wouldn't have thought we hold their offense to 27 points.
Croom should've had a TD on the 1st int.
Overall I was proud how a team full of 1st year players played against a NC contender.
Worley should've earned every Vol fan's respect tonight.

Hate to see it go down this way and don't like to lose....but....I actually feel good about how the majority of this game went. OU is legit and has probably one of the best D's we will face all year. The D played exceptional save a few plays....but it could have been about 3 scores worse.

Still don't, and probably never will, understand why we didn't run the ball down on the goal line instead of the pick 6...that was a huge momentum shift late in the game....but I aint getting paid multi-millions to call the plays.

Worley is a stud....alot of other guys would have folded but the didn't and I am proud of the young man for giving his all.

O line still needs some work, but they are young or at least new to starts and like I said...one of the best front 7's in college this year.

Nevertheless....I'll take this team attitude and heart every day of the week and twice on Sunday at this point....very impressed with the spirit...

Look out SEC....its time to play some ball and I still think this team has 4+ better wins left in it.

Not much about this game surprised me. I'm proud of how our team fought. We played like freshmen against one of, if not the best all around team in the country. This Tennessee team is going to be good down the road. I'm not upset at all.

We could have won if we played a flawless game. Obviously we didn't, and our mistakes were big ones.

The talent gap (outside the Oline) isn't huge, though. And you can see it.

Exactly! I see this team getting better as the season goes on. I also see more mistakes and a learning curve.

No need in hating on our coaches and players. Let the season play out and then grade them as a whole.

I can't stand losing but I refuse to open my mouth negatively against guys that want to be here, want to win, and are part of our vol nation.

Can we please remember that this game was optional.

How can fans continue to defend scheduling these games instead of a confidence building win?

It's too bad that you know nothing about how games are scheduled. If you did you would have been able to avoid ridiculous statements like this.

Kinda like Worley! Good game guys. You fought for 4 quarters. I know you're trying to rationalize how the score could have been closer but OU had an offsides which kept a UT drive alive, a face mask did also, and a punt fumble recovery. It was obvious to me Stoops did not try to rub it in because we basically ran up the middle the entire second half. Good luck the rest of the way. May you win the EAST!

Lol, thanks for playing. See you in the General's House next year... If you don't back out.
