I dont think they deserve it either. Name another team who will get it before they do. South Carolina? Ole Miss? Tulane? Iowa State? BYU? Loser of ACC game?
I’m not sure.
Ole Miss? Miami? SC?
Any team that has 3 losses and one of those losses is to Candy, that team doesn’t deserve to be in a 12 team playoff, don’t care who they are.

FSU plucked Gus away from UCF so their going big next year 🤣

Norvell had to make a splash hire, natives down here getting restless. I'm surprised at Gus, UCF is not necessarily full of expectations and no one was calling for his head.......big school and decent salary.....id stayed put and rode off into the sunset when the time came (of course if I'm riding on I-4 it'd be a slow 🐌 ride).

Bammer lost to Vandy and is a 3 loss team
If Texas beats Georgia in the SEC championship game that will give Georgia lost 3 games also. The committee are the ones that pick. They will mess over someone to get Bama in it. Didn't Georgia lose to Bama in the SEC championship game last year and had only one loss and was left out of the final 4. I am a Vol fan all the way. I just do not trust the ones that pick some of these teams.

Makes sense to me. Marketing dollars will want Alabama in, credibility be damned. Also don’t see them matching Oregon against anyone in the SEC until the title game. Think they’ll also do what they can to prop Boise up as long as possible.

I think the biggest conspiracy is for an impossible All-SEC finals. Hope I am wrong.

There's always going to be bias with the committee no matter what. The B10 media bias has always been there and always will be. We can argue until the cows come home but these things will never change.

Only way I see your seed lines happening is if Georgia absolutely stomps Texas by 50 plus and Oregon barely gets by Penn State because you have the big 10 loser barely moving but the #2 plummeting almost as much in the SEC championship than Ohio St losing to a sucky Michigan team on their own field.

Vols hosting either Ohio State or Indiana is what it says over here at Ol’ Hula’s camp.

And Ol’ Hula hasn’t been wrong all day (don’t call Mrs. Hula to fact check this statement).

Clemson when they beat SMU simple, if its a close game and I think it will be SMU gets in 2 ACC teams.
So big 10 gets 4 teams.
Sec gets 3 teams.
ACC gets 2 teams.
Big 12 gets 1 team.
ND
Boise st.

I don't think ACC deserves 2 teams.
I don't think big 10 deserves 4 teams
Unless sec gets 4 teams.

It is going to be a very long 2 days until that poll comes out - they it will be additional speculation of "what ifs" until the dust clears next weekend.

What is really wild is that we may end up with at least one, maybe even three teams with 3 losses in the 12.

no chance that they put all of those sec teams in the same corner of the bracket
I hope you are right, I am just going by the numbers of rank.

As it stands now, Vols could host in #2 or #3 spot. As we won't get #1 home spot because of Notre Dame. (unless we jumped them, which would be huge, but don't see happening ever)

So it still wide open. We could be playing GA, Penn State, Alabama, Texas, Indiana, or SMU.
