THIS is Probably the MOST Embarrassing Part from Saturday Night...

Cooper Mays was the first one off the field. Showed him & 65 having to come back out.

One of our players refusing to tackle and subsequently giving up a 60+yard TD run was the most embarrassing part IMO.
Watching the SEC Net show Roman & Cole they showed this play and ran it back 3 or 4 times and stopping it and laughing and pointing. Not only Hadden who bumped and ran behind Etienne could have at least grabbed his shirt or jumped on his back and tried to ride him down but he waited to there was some separation and dived to the ground safely. Hadden wasn't the only one they pointed out the 1st guy whiffed they said he had to have closed his eyes. Yep, they were laughing and cutting up as they showed it in stop action ,slow motion 3 or 4 times, now that was embarrassing.

It was.. I have never seen anything like it.. I would have benched him and let anyone else play.. seniority and talent be damned.. We are good at suspending folks, but in this instance I would have liked to make a point.. did you give your all for Tennessee.. no, you didn’t lol

Right...just as bad as the shoulder nudge was him running behind him for 20 yards well within the range to dive and tackle and then just falling down with almost zero effort to tackle.

I think Al Wilson or JJ would’ve kicked almost everyone’s butts for lack of effort, but Hadden would have probably had to have found his own way back to Knoxville

Does anyone remember the plays with Tennessee #8(?) trotting behind the Florida QB instead of closing and tackling him?

Both plays were successful for Florida. I was baffled and frustrated by this.

I have a feeling that we don't tackle to the ground in practice and some of our defenders don't know the difference between practice and game.

There are at least half a dozen "tackle" attempts that were far more embarrassing....Haddens bump being at the top of the list. Several block attempts also make my list. Then there's 21 years and that final score. Nah, that clip ain't even on the radar. Actually glad there was even a hint of fight from the guys in orange.

It didn't look real. It was as if the whole Tennessee defense were paid to look bad.

They didn't look like any of then had ever played football all of a sudden.

And this ONLY happens against Florida.

It's by far the most annoying situation in sports.
