as our VOLS, auburn, and atm continue to rise and knock off bama on a regular basis (it will happen...1 of the 3 of us will beat them this yr GO VOLS) bamas recruiting willstart to slip...i think kids only go there right now because they are sold on the chance to win it all. When kids see that they can beat bama while at UT, saban has nothing left to sell. Kids dont care about past accomplishments much. They care about the present and the future. I dont think Bamas pro style offense and vanilla, big LB , cover 2 defense will hold up with out a team full of 5* players. Couple of classes that arent so stellar and bamas dropping 3 games a year like everyone else IMO

Well, 2 of the 3 teams you mentioned have been able to knock Bama off. I hope UT's time is coming.

Get that all the time, he he. Again, West Point grad, ties to both UT and SC as well, all good, was trying to point out a CFB issue, focused on the SEC in particular, some posters just cannot engage in a normal conversation without showing their dark side. NP, but the premise remains, this is a new SEC with aTm, Mizzou and others that are recruiting well, and it is definately a harder job today than it was 20 years ago to win this conference.

That's why people should pump the breaks on all this recruiting talk. Yes, it's great, but we're only keeping up, barely.

Tennessee currently has the fastest offense in the SEC. They also have the second worst offense in the SEC. So maybe Butch should work on something other than speed.

The conference is only getting better. Makes it harder to come back once you're down.

It really is.as good as i can remember. theres only one crap team in the whole conference -vandy obviously. every other team i think is capable of at least 5-6+ wins. even ky and arky. btw arky looks scary good as far as run game goes. glad we dont play them this year.

It's terrible because when you can't run the ball the opposing team can defend every play like it's a pass play. If it wasn't for our Stellar receiving corps and Worley we'd probably be closer to Vandy than already are.
Once OLine matures and opens up run lanes, the offense will start lighting up some Ds

The faster they play, the more experience they get. The more experience they get, the better they play. I say, play as fast as you can. It will pay off in the end.
