This is what I want to see

I like CCM and know he is a good man and he likes Tennessee. I thought he would grow as a coach but that has just not happened. He has recruited at least top 20 talent, but his coaching and game planning are terrible. I felt that this team would be a winner and I'm still satisfied that they are with good coaching to lead them. I join the group that say CCM will not get it done.....sorry, but he needs to go

I'd like to think we could do better than Bruce. Flame away, but I want to believe there are some top flight coaches out there that we could or should be able to hire here. I love what Bruce did for the program (aside from getting himself fired) but I truly don't expect him to ever coach here again.

This... by far the most sane post on the whole "bring Pearl back". I for one still would like to see CCM succeed, but it's not getting off to a good start as everyone had hoped. As for Pearl, that ship has passed. I agree with the poster in that when that next hire comes along it needs to be someone just as iconic as Pearl, but able to get this thing rocking again.

Say whatever you want. Bruce is a top flight coach. Never missed the NCAA while in Knoxville. Can any other coach say that while here.

He also claimed there must have been a sniper in the rafters at Murray State on Tuesday night because one of his players fell down at center court for no apparent reason. Tennessee and CCM look like paradise compared with the raging dumpster fire at SIU. Trust me, things could be worse.

But that coach showed more passion and "want to win" in 2 lines of that interview, than ours has in 3 years.
