yeah I tried to straighten it out.....my bad...I see 16 players who are getting solid time as of now.

the way i see it these players have only had real coaching this season and are vastly improved. if these new kids develop as quickly, i really don't see it as that much of a drop off assuming the incoming class is as good as we all think it is going to be. obviously there will be some drop off (particularly on the line and special teams) but not as bad as it would have been if these kids had had 4/5 years of real coaching as opposed to 1.

That list stumps me...it's just gonna take some time. 3 more years until we see true balance and depth. Meanwhile, let's continue to believe and grow!!

Schedule's looking easier next year. Besides the usual culprits, Utah State, Chattanooga, Oklahoma, and Ole Miss. I think 3 of those 4 are wins, maybe even all of them. Bob Stoops is almost Richt-like in his ability to lose big games, and Butch's teams always show a significant rebound effect in year 2. I think we'll have a surprisingly good year, especially with a dialed-in offense.

There's not too much WOW in that group. A lot of the names pose the question.."Who?"

And those are great points, along with a great platform for young players to build on.

Add Antonio Richardson to that list. The oline is the biggest concern. The dline takes a hit as well. But we should be much improved at all skill positions.

Lots of contributors, not many draft picks. Maybe 4 (Fulton, McCullers, Stone, James). A few more might sneak in like Miller/Neal/Sapp.

Palardy - Will be replaced by Aaron Medley in both the punting and kicking games, he has a strong leg and Wilhoit as a mentor, but it's a big time leap from kicking at Marshall County to kicking in huge stadiums with 100,000 fans watching.

Brewer/Sapp - I think with an off season JRM will be able to step up at one of the OLB positions and hopefully we get Maggit back as well. Sapp has been playing extremely well and will be hard to replace. I think Weatherd will get a look on the outside as well. Hopefully AJ stays his senior year and our LB's should be a pretty solid group.

Neal - I really think Lane is going to have a big year when he is considered the man. Plus he isn't going to want one of the incoming freshmen come in and take over his spot.

Smith/Miller/Walls - these guys have been pretty inconsistent throughout their career, but Miller has been playing much better lately and Walls and Smith make play periodically. We have Vereen who looks like our next great DE, lets hope that continues and Jordan Williams will have to step in on the other side.

McCullers/Couch - We have basically been down Couch all year anyway. McCullers has been solid, but Saulsberry was looking really solid before going down and I think O'Brien and Carr are going to be good players as well and we have Lambert coming in too.

Stone/James/Fulton/Bullard - This will be the most important to replace and is the difference of taking a step forward or taking one backwards in year two of the Coach Jones era. I think Marcus Jackson will provide a boost in the running game as it has been said he is the strongest or one of the strongest lineman and Wiesman was getting rave reviews during camp. Mack is more of a true center then Stone, but is a smaller guy, James is tough to replace as he has started every game since he has been on campus. We have guys that have been in the system so it won't be like Dooley's first year when he had a first year freshmen out there. Hopefully Kerbyson can come in and play remotely close to James's level at RT or we can recruit a JUCO guy. Hopefully Tiny stays for his senior year because we have no one else coming back that is a true SEC caliber LT on the team.

The rest of the guys not listed above have provided special teams and some back-up roles, but I like our current class and think that we can fill some of those with better athletes so probably not much of a drop off, but I think Byron Moore has some leadership ability and he has helped recruiting as well so he will be missed.

Basically I think replacing the OL is the biggest issue that we face and the other seniors will most likely be replaced by someone equally as good. With those guys becoming starters we will have to find some depth behind those guys and that's what I'm not sure we have especially at DE. The good news on the OL assuming everyone comes back and Jackson continues to redshirt is that Tiny will be the only senior starter next year and then we will return an experienced line for Coach Jones year 3 when he better be winning or his seat will be warming up.

AJ needs to be DE and Mike depending on opponent or NFL. Miller and McCullerrs hurt. Sapp is in for Maggitt(playing well though, thank god. We're fine without Neal. QB should be improved. Oline? There's the problem.

Obviously hate losing the OL. Other than that there's only a few that are really impactful... Palardy, Corey Miller, Dontavis Sapp jump off the page. I'm excited to see North, Croom, Smith, Branisel, Reeves-Maybin, Sutton, Swafford, Randolph, etc making the contributions they're making. Wait until the #2-10 ranked recruiting class in the country gets on campus starting in January.

Butch will recruit well beyond the majority of these players and I think, after the Georgia game, we've begun to see his ability to coach up and develop players. We will replenish with better players although its hard to see a lot of these guys go all at once. Attrition is apart of all programs.... not too worried.

Really don't think Tiny will stay....he will get paid and begin his Sunday career, IMO

Next man up. He's a very good, not great player. Don't blame him for leaving, know that we'll replace him and move on to bigger and better things.

Disagree, he will be replaced but he has been great. One of the positives in an Era of mostly negative
