maybe but having 2 back-to-back 8 win seasons and no top 25 finishes in a conference whose best team in those years were at best #10 and #14 in the country isnt a resume booster to coach in the SEC.

Once UNC fires Davis he can join Fulmer on the unemployable washed up old coaches list. Like Fulmer, Davis's best coaching is over a decade behind him.

I love how you ignore him building the most talented team in history at Miami. And that was after they were on Alabama/USC style probation at that.

that's because Butch coaches at UNC now, not Miami. He hasnt done anything yet at UNC. 2 games above .500 is mediocre at best.

I would rather have her that jabba the hut Chris Low. Heather dinich is pretty easy on the eyes, i saw her in clemson a couple times last year. I saw Chris low at SC a couple times, then saw him again at the Clemson Bama super regional, he reminds me of Kirstie Alley with short hair.

While his tenure at UNC so far is just a tab better than mediocre, I have to agree with this. There's plenty of mid majors that would roll out the red carpet for him as well as struggling BCS schools that would probably do the same. He wont hurt for work.

He'll have to take a mid major - or just hang it up. No way a BCS school hires a 60+ year old who got fired for consistently underperforming.
