This loss falls at the feet of Tim Banks.

Yeah I don’t think this is one person’s fault. If we absolutely had to choose 1, it would be the head coach as he’s the CEO.

This is a culture loss. We haven’t advanced at all. Same tired garbage. We just let a key rival get their big win to kick start their momentum when we could have stepped on their necks.

Until that changes, we won’t be anything more than an “also ran.”

Can’t say I’m a bit surprised though. We are probably a 7-5 football team. Maybe 6-6.

And we can’t say the old, “this is just one game stuff.” The team’s performance since game #1 has shown what kind of team this is … and it’s not good.

Why is it we can't make defensive adjustments during the game. Why play like crap till the half is over . Then adjust, and get some stops in the second half, but by then we're in a hole ???

Milton played well enough. 290 yards through the air. Ints are going to happen and he had 1.

He wasn’t missing passes in the first half and ended up 20/34 287 yds. Got hosed on at least 2 no calls on PIs, one of which would’ve been 6.

Milton is no Hooker, but he didn’t cost us the game tonight.
Biggest Problem with him was he looked panicked. That INT was a panicked forced throw while getting hit. He tried to make a hero play and it was dumb. He lost confidence and so did the staff in him after that. He is a placeholder. Stats lie, and he did very little to positively affect the game. His WR core isn’t very good though either. Bru is okay and squirrel is good but the rest are unreliable and don’t win enough. Hooker and Tillman were wide open and our guys rarely are this season

Peyton threw 4 of them in 1 half vs Florida. Joe didn’t make another mistake and turnovers happen. It’s his first INT in limited but a long time. Milton isn’t Hooker, but not everyone is. He played well enough to win if our defense had been competent enough to make more than 1 stop in the first half.

Our whole team design is predicated on scoring and dictating what the other team does. We cannot have 3-outs and turnovers. This team cannot overcome that. Peyton also could win you a game and Joe has NEVER been why we won a game.

Face it: he is an okay qb who Heupel does not trust. The play calling says so. Two quarters of slants and screens only says something.

Seriously dude? Defense wasn't great. They scored 29 points. That's beatable. Our offense can't score 30 points?! Milton looked like hot garbage for most of the game and our offensive line looked like a bunch of out of shape middle aged dudes they pulled off the street. The defense was bad, but they did enough for us to win if our offense isn't pooping down their legs all game long.

I’ve been trying to tell y’all he’s awful forever now I wish I actually was wrong
I wanted to be patient because he was given a hot mess to start. However, they have not fundamentally improved since that starting point. He hid some major holes early, but there is no progress in many areas as talent and depth improve. The offense isn't capable of hiding the shortcomings this year.

The offense and defense were terrible in the first half. Second half the defense showed up, offense didn’t.

Team wasn't ready to play from the rip. The slow starts on offense finally got us, and the defense didn't wake up til the second half. Any glimmer of hope after that the refs made sure it didn't matter.

Face it? I’m not some Milton fanboy, only that he was far from the reason we lost tonight. He threw 1 pick and the loss is his fault? Interceptions happen. The defense and OL lost us the game tonight, not Milton. He made some great throws. Missed a few, but he’s not Hooker and you have to play to his strengths and he does have some.

The DBs have not even gotten ok. Not better heck, may have regressed
What do you expect...We have the same secondary coach and basically the same secondary players for the past 3 years...When does anyone expect a different outcome??

Heupel embarrassed himself with that timeout at the end there. Your team looked unprepared and you got outcoached. Take the loss with class and get to work this week.
He made a terrible night worse.. let emotions get the best of him and his players followed suit getting a personal foul at the end. Unnecessary and a bad look. Florida won. Tip your cap and do better.

I don't believe any team is afraid of Milton at QB. Too slow to make a read, horrible accuracy, and doesn't seem to have the feel for the game. Defense could be better, saw a lot of DB's leave there man early only to have the ball thrown to that receiver.

This game is 100% on defense. Offense couldn't touch the ball since the defense got off the field. Anyone mad at the offense for not climbing out if a 20 point hole on the road is delusional.
Florida had enough points to win by the 7:25 mark of the 2nd quarter. Offense deserves a lot of blame too.

Offense got in their own way in the 2nd half, but defense could not get off the field or force a punt in the first half. Refs played a big part of our offensive ineptitude too, but not so much to our defense.
