Why do we call them Candy?

Cornelius Vanderbilt was a robber baron and war profiteer from New York who claimed a false rank in the military. Spoiler alert: he was not in the Navy. Many died in ships with rotten timbers he supplied during the Civil War.

The worst thing we could call them is Vandy.

Either this was purposely made to get attention like TO using popcorn or a marker in celebration, or a damn serious overreaction.

Can they be set back further?:)

Vandy has most of the same colors as the New Orleans Saints. Except unlike the Saints they have remanded in garbage. For vandy football it's like it's been the endless nightmare.
Even when they had Jay cutler still they were unable to produce a great winning season.

Vandy has failed to accomplish the four below
BcS game
Championship game appearance
Sec east division title
Sec Champion

Have they ever been ranked in the top 25 not that I can recall whether in BcS era or non BcS era.

well you do have to admit it is a different look for Vanderbilt, new shirt new attitude right ? isn't that an Adidas shirt ? hmmm oh wait
