This team and Holly

I have been hard, not unfair, but hard on Kortney because she seemingly had a one-trick pony of a game. 3-pt shooter, from anywhere within 10 ft of the arc. . . .But she showed me something as well last night.

I was there, she played their big-physical guard better than most of them. She actually has quicker feet than Shaquilla does and may be as powerful. I have never see her play low post as a position on defense. I am thinking she and Shaq can combine as a low-post tandem to give Cedes a breather.

It is certainly worth a try.

Hard I can accept - it's the unfair and unwillingness to praise her when she does well from these other folks that pisses me off!

And indeed...the combo you mentioned is worth a try...

I second this and it pisses me off to no end! Kort played good minutes and did not let anybody score. She is a team player and if someone can get it done better, she will never complain about not playing.

Just watch her reaction to the win last night...no one was more jubilant for her team. She chest bumped someone so hard (maybe Jordan) that she (KD) went down! I loved it! The crowd LOVES Kortney - she always gets loud cheers when she comes into the game and it cracks me up that the crowd will sometimes boo when they take her out!

Love KD and so proud of her effort last night! Some of you people need to learn how to uplift our players instead of tearing them down. I would say they are just haters, but no way they can know this young woman and hate her - she is good people! Always kind, always willing to stop and talk to the little ones and take a picture with them...always all Lady Vol.

Stepping down off my soap box now and gonna go kick something!

GO LADY VOLS AND GO KORT!!!!

Well said!

that white hat no doubt carried them to victory, Smallvol. well done!

ps: I'm up @12:32 in the morning awaiting the return of Wifey from the hospital. We had to rush her 88 yo mom to the ER. bad reaction to prescribed meds and fever.

Any of you all on first name basis with the GOOD LORD, Prayer would be appreciated. I love that woman but I know her time is getting short.

Diagnosis(sp?) for the Wifey's Mom is pneumonia. I wonder has she been messing around Government Mule's? Didn't he say he had that too?

Hopefully, the Docs can get her stabilized and recovering.

Thank you, T Vol

A peek at my day today.

Wake up every half hour from 3am to 5:30am. Feed critters, make breakfast, get kidlet off to school, Wifey off to work, Find missing IPad charger of MIL's, 8:10 finally finish 1st cup of coffee.
Still to come .... 10:00am trip to hospital, 3:00 pm trip to dermatologist with kidlet to have him checked out(wart removal?) 5:00 pm Trip to Tampa airport to pickup another kidlet.

Guess that's enough for one day... :(

No, no not the kitties either, Coach J! (I have two doggies and three kitties! 😄)

I kick stuff like walls, doors, furniture...and slamming - I love to slam the hell out of a door when I'm mad! 😁

Just read this, gule. Hope your MIL recovers quickly; pneumonia can be ugly; TO lost his dad two weeks ago to it's "after affects" (he had been fighting it on and off since September). It's nothing to not take seriously, especially in the elderly.

We'll keep her, Wifey, and you in our prayers (His first name is Good).

❤️❤️ SV

Yeah, and before grammar gremlin gule gets me, I know I used a double negative:sad:.

gule, fight the dehydration with Pedialyte. It is easier to drink than Gatorade and has more electrolytes.
