And this team has not won back to back games since Pearl came back. That's not good.

That's why we don't deserve the NCAAT. We should be going to the NIT but I believe we're gonna get in the big dance. Add to the 19-14 overall record in that we're 12-14 in the last 26 games. Is that a resume for the NCAAT? We don't deserve it to be perfectly honest!

Sorry to break it to you guys, but we're in. I never thought it would be so tough for Tennessee fans to accept the fact that the Vols are getting a bid to the NCAA tournament. If we really didn't deserve it, we wouldn't be there. I know the season was a let down, but be happy, there has been worse years than this.

This team has been a big disappointment, but we definitely deserve to be in. Our RPI and SOS is way too strong.

Anyone saying we shouldn't be in doesn't realize how absolutely terrible this field is past about the 4 line.

If not for those Big East wins, this team is NIT bound...pretty sad stat, 12-14 after a 7-0 start.

Its apparent that some on here are pulling for us to not make the tourney or have an early exit. Why? Out of spite for BP or a player?

I expect a few more threads like this to pop up when the bracket comes out and the Vols are actually in it.

How many different ways can it be said? The writing is on the wall for Bruce Pearl and the coaching staff. That's why this season has been a dumpster fire.

Just my opinion.

The tournament has 68 teams. It's really beside the point to talk about whether someone "deserves" it or not. A whole bunch of marginal teams are getting in.

All the First Four teams should be these crappy at-large teams from big conferences. It's wrong wrong wrong to make any of the automatic bid teams play them.

Counting the UConn game, the team is 4-7 in the games Pearl has coached since his suspension, 4-6 in SEC games.

We're in, but Pearl didn't exactly provide a lightning rod when he returned.
