No joke! You are right on. Gonna tell me UGA or Bama deserve it more? Harvard? Va Tech, Michigan? Of course UT deserves to be in, it is the entire body of work that earns a bid.

I admit I've been extremely disappointed with this season but,unlike some on here, I can remember ALOT worse seasons than this. I live in the cookeville area and I can recall in the mid to late 90's when tennessee tech actually beat the vols. That should never happen. Anyway, I for one will enjoy our ncaat bid if we get it. Who knows, it may be our last for a while so enjoy the good times. Trust me, its better now than it used to be.

If CBS's bracket predictions are right, we have an easy path to the sweet 16...have us as 10 seed playing Washington, if we won that we would play 2 seed notre dame....but i also want to add that inconsistency is our identity this year and with that I doubt we could beat an NIT team much less an NCAA T team

More? No, but you can argue they both deserve one about as much. Both beat us at home, and it took a last second rebound in to beat UGA at their place.

I'd like that path. I would be overjoyed to beat Notre Dame to get to the Sweet 16.

I get that, but total resumes don't compare much. Georgia's is better than Bama's and it doesn't matter if it took a last second rebound to beat UGA. That means nothing, it's a win. Our S.O.S. Is 2, that says a lot. I wouldn't even say they deserve it as much.

Just a thought, if you were a 7 seed, would you want to play us? I'd rather take on an FSU, Gonzaga, Michigan, etc.

Yes, I really think that. The idea is just nonsense. Everybody on this board is a Tennessee fan. Nobody dislikes the coach so much that he's rooting against Tennessee. It wasn't true of Fulmer; it's not true of Pearl. Nobody's high-fiving each other when we lose because they hate the coach so much.

Passions have gotten so high on both sides of this issue that everybody sees the other side as cartoonishly stupid and evil. I don't know what it is about Tennessee that we can't just have a coaching change like anybody else without it being a freaking civil war.

I think the SEC gets 4 teams, Kentucky, Florida, and Vandy are in.
Alabama could get the 4th bid but they played a weaker schedule I think UT gets in instead.

No i am a Vol fan. It is just a fact. I hope they run off and win the whole thing. I just heard it on a sports show that they (Vols) haven't won 2 in a row since Pearl came back from those 8 games.
