Defensive Coordinator: ( John Jancek) 5 years at Georgia with Mark Ritch, or he may make another hire.

Ofensive Coordinator: Mike Bejankin, three years with the Chicago Bears.

TE/Special Teams: Dave Johnson, would be a great candidate he spent 7 years with Georgia

Outside Linebackers coach or Linebackers coach 5 years in the NFL as linebackers coach with teams like the Packers, Bengals, Jags, and Texans.

I say our staff will look like this when it is all said and done CBJ seems too like having a safties and corners coach and also an inside and outside linebackers coach.

Depending on limitations on how many staff members you can have here is what the new staff could look like.

Defensive Coordinator: Unknown
Defensive Backs: Mark Elder
Line Backers : John Jancek
Dline: Coach: Steve Strippling
Oline: Coach: Don Mahoney
TE/Special Teams Coach: Dave Johnson
QB Coach: Darin Hinshaw
WR Coach: Tee Martin
RB Coach: Jay Graham

This staff may not be the so called best staff in America but it will have SEC experience, NFL experience and good chemistry with Butch Jones. You may have to google every name on it like i did except for Hinshaw, Tee, and Jay but I think that we will like what we see. Also watch out for TJ Weist to come here from Cincy maybe as the recruiting coordinator if Hinshaw doesn't get to keep the title, which he should. Go VOLS!

So cinci had the best coaches in the country? Actually all it was missing was Jay Graham. Now it is the best.

I like your positivity and I even agree with you. But you won't convince 90% of this board that bringing his guys are the best decision.

My fault on the Hinshaw statement I didn't read the rest of the thread that said Hinshaw is retained. So that means that TJ Weist will probably be QB coach and Recruiting Coordinator.

thanks for the comment. I would just hate to run this guy out of town before he even gets started.

I really don't think you are going to run Coach Jones out of town. But, he might run some negavols out of town by the end of next week, or sooner.

Reported on TOS that Rick Trickett from Florida St could be a candidate to watch for Oline coach. He is highly regarded as a high level recruiter and and one of the top Oline coaches in the country.

That's more like it.

Jones may be forced to look at other options. Cincy has a bowl game, and that staff is forced to be there until the 29th of December I think. The tail end of it anyways. He needs a staff with a plan for when dead period ends.

The coaches can do both, the dead period starts in a little over a week anyway. I can see some of the coaches coming from Cincy, but not the majority of the staff. Some may be retained by Tubby, though unlikely.
