If you’re a huge fan youre 100% the type of fan that’s a problem in every fan base. Every team has things that they would like their team to better. None of that matters as long as you win. We are currently 5-1.I’d love to see the VOLS correct their problems with dead ball penalties, long ball, and pass protection. If so, I see them whipping Bama, Vandy, and giving GA a run and possibly winning out the regular season.
But, issues are significant and like I say, I don’t see them winning many if the O plays like they did against FL.
Just one huge fan’s opinion.
You know we won, right?
I'm happy with wins. And we won. That's ALL that matters. If they continue to win I will be happy. I doubt you will be though.Again, are you happy with the offense performance? If they continue to play this way the remainder of the year will you be happy?
Karnac says VOLS don’t win many if any if there aren’t changes in the offense.
I’m not going to allow a football game to dictate that I’ll live in misery… stupid! No it’s more like we won.. because we won. If you lost to a team 90% of the time you play a win is a win is a win.
I’ll never understand Vols fans who choose to live in misery when we’ve been so pedestrian for so long. We’re winning. Heupel is beating top 25 teams in a more regular basis than we’ve seen in 20 years. Enjoy life a little bud.
I love the manner the offense played on the first drive until the botched exchange. I also loved the OT drive. It's all about executionAgain, are you happy with the offense performance? If they continue to play this way the remainder of the year will you be happy?

Agreed. The stupid penalties are infuriating.I’d love to see the VOLS correct their problems with dead ball penalties, long ball, and pass protection. If so, I see them whipping Bama, Vandy, and giving GA a run and possibly winning out the regular season.

The sad fact is, in our contemporary era of insistent misery, hate-loving mindset, and self-pitying, people's brains don't work anymore. Whether the switch or button is in the OFF position, or there's a short circuit, the brain just isn't working. No it’s more like we won.. because we won. If you lost to a team 90% of the time you play a win is a win is a win.

I believe that most fans want to win every game and believe we have the talent to do so. Those beliefs may be a little short of reality, but one does not want to lose a game based on mistakes and poor effort. What some of us saw against Arkansas, Oklahoma and Florida was mistakes, and some players not play any where close to their potential. We cvan win any of the remaining games if we eliminate mistakes, especially penalties, and get better effort from a couple of the offensive linemen who have not put forth maximum effort. More aggressive play calling will eliminate the opposing defense from predicting what plays we will call in certain situations. We need to be smarter on offense than Alabama is on defense. No it’s more like we won.. because we won. If you lost to a team 90% of the time you play a win is a win is a win.

I generally agree but a minor distinction: Not only do they need to hear encouragement from coach, It is importance each player and coach holds themselves personally accountable for issues and tells their mates what they plan to do to get better. That’s a great, well-produced video that really captures the incredible atmosphere in Neyland.
But my biggest takeaway was the part at the beginning. The way Josh talks to his team. His calm demeanor. No panic. He’s emphatic, but not emotional. Teaching.
After a disappointing loss, I love the way he handled it and his message to his team. “Use it to get better.”
My personal favorite is the laughing emoji post about ifs and buts when his entire complaint is based on ifs and buts.I'm happy with wins. And we won. That's ALL that matters. If they continue to win I will be happy. I doubt you will be though.
Your panties are in a twist over what's to come. That's a fool's life.
