You have got to read The Daily News article related to an interview with Holly. If this was not the game of shooting 3point bricks, why didn't you call a timeout and chew their asses up one side and down the other? Why didn't you sat players' on the bench that ignored what you told them to do? Holly said the players had their own agenda. You are the head coach and it is your agenda that has to be followed and not the players. This team has no respect for Holly. They don't give a damn what she says or what she demand they do.

This is not the first time she has stated that the players are told one thing by the coaching staff but decide to do what they want to do. How many recruits really want to play for a program that has no leadership and the players are running the program? Recruits read this crap, if not recruiters remind them. This is the voice of a hapless pathetic coach asking for help. This is not the voice of a coach that has her crap together. Right now the animals are running the zoo. Holly have some respect for yourself and the program. If you can't stand the heat and have lost control, do the right thing and resign.

I'm shocked. I guess saying the same old things over and over again in other posts was not enough. You have to start your own thread to say the same things over again. We get it. I guess all those other posters who feel the same way you do will chime in and we will once again have another bash Holly post. Oh goodie!

She must be feeling the heat. Throwing her players under the bus like that. Very poor leadership... I would understand if the players did not respect her. That's all.

Remember no one has to read a post if they desire not to, that is unless you are now the Post Police. I am glad you get it or do you really? Oh goodie back at you.

Well, it's different….not quite what I had in mind, but different. Thanks for that. I can't quit reading….I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. I have no idea what that view would be like but expect it would be dark and I wouldn't see anything. I often wonder, when I hear that phrase, why anyone would think that the view would be enlightening.

I'm just as passionate as you are but just disagree that blasting players and coaches sends the right message to the fan base and outsiders who wonder into this forum looking for information. There are always differing opinions and apparently we are on different ends of the spectrum when it comes to how we articulate our feelings about LV basketball. I will continue to root for the LV's and provide an alternate viewpoint as I deem necessary. I expect you will do the same.

lol Comedy isn't it but they love the lady vols so much, they want to fire the coach, like that really gone get us to the Championship. Blowing me away.

She can't coach but she's been to two elite in three years. wuteva. And how many SEC Championships. HOw many coaches in the SEC or around the country can say that? wuteva.

She can't walk. She can't talk. She can't stand. She can't run. She can't sit down. She can't do her nails. She can't. She can't. She can't interview...she can't even piss right...
wuteva... I back Pat and roll with Holly! She have to have a losing season for me to jump ship but that's just me.

Holly has lost this team. Sounds like the tail is wagging the dog

I agree. If I were her this would be my last season. Obviously what you are doing is not working and the program is declining. I never thought South Carolina and Ms. State would be more relevant teams in the SEC than Tennessee. Yes, Holly has a good record, but she does less with more. With the talent this team possess, Tennessee should be a top 3 team and a national contender. Tennessee looks like a team just out there playing with no real directions or purpose, but to get the ball inside. I know there has to be some coaches out there who would love to have this roster.

This is America and I respect your opinion but that does not make it the best opinion, nor does it make mine the best. I have never questioned anyone's opinion no matter how many times they have stated it. I hear a lot of Holly supporters who want to blame the players and give Holly a brake. To me that is just as bad as bashing Holly if not worse. It just sounds irresponsible for a coach to admit that players will not follow their plan. In reality she is admitting that the players are in control. Holly is the head coach and cannot throw the players under the bus. To me it sends the wrong message to the fan base, the players and potential recruits.

I have been following the Lady Vols since the 1970's. I love the Lady Vols and hate to see them headed in the direction it seems they are headed in. Unless this program is turned around we are in serious trouble. We have lost our mojo, did you ever envision the Lady Vols failing to secure a single recruit in any recruiting year or players being lazy and acting like they don't give a damn? Did you ever envision that you would see Lady Vol players throwing up bricks like they are brick layers? Someone has to grab the reins.

Any way difference of opinions are what make the world turn around. No matter where fans stand on this program, I just think it is wrong to say things such as, they are, or are not real fans. As you said you just have fans with different viewpoints. There are times when both sides go overboard with their passion. By the way we have all been up a butt or two and it is certainly not enlightening unless it takes tight quarters to enlighten an individual.

That was the "different" that I was hoping for. I do care what people think and say on here and while I do not agree with some, I have learned that I must value diversity. I will speak my peace just as everyone else does and I am fully aware that there will be those who agree and those that do not.

You and I are not that much different. I too have been following the LV's since the 70's and enjoyed those glory years along with many others in this forum and the down cycle we appear to be in is truly killing me but I believe that we will return to prominence in the not too distant future. These cycles seem to correct themselves every so often.

I expect we both were raised in a generation that valued loyalty and that is probably what is sticking in my craw about all these disparaging posts. I doubt I will change because it is a part of my identity and I am very much a product of how i was raised. The later generations did not place as much of a premium on virtues like loyalty and respect for others. I harbor no ill will towards anyone in this forum but that does not mean I will stand idly by while people bash by beloved LV's.

I believe that these posters are just as loyal to the Lady Vols as you are. Loyalty to a team does not mean that we all have to have the same opinion about the coaching staff. I have an issue when coaches blame players for a loss or when they admit that they do not know what to do. At least take some responsibility for allowing them to ignore you. If that makes me a disloyal fan, then so be it. Set player's asses on the bench if they refuse to follow your plan.

A lot of Holly supporters do not have trouble throwing players under the bus and giving Holly a pass. That is just wrong. This is her team and she cannot be separate from this team good or bad. Most of these five stars are prima donnas that need leadership and a kick in the butt when they do not follow directions.
