Tonight's crowd was way louder than some of those bogus 15,000+ crowds this year.

My friends and I were sitting on the front row behind the scorer's table and one of UT's assistant SID's complemented us on our enthusiasm. He said they're not used to that from the old people who sit there normally.

Also, he said they were actually worried about us and because of this they put extra security in our area. He laughed and reiterated that he didn't think we were a problem (He sat right in front of us.) but he could tell that others weren't used to the loud fans being so close.

They sent extra security to the area by savannah states fans, that's the way the LL should be.

I was in 105, I'm assuming you were too or 106. Great atmosphere.

As I said in another thread hopefully the AD takes notice. Sad that 6k are louder than 15k.

I thought the "first come, first seated " policy was awesome..$10 got front row for some lucky folks who ordinarily wouldn't have that opportunity..I was extremely proud of the enthusiasm shown and excitement generated by the crowd in general...

I was in 104! Great crowd! I was the loudest one in my section, IMO.

I'll be there for MTSU, I really enjoyed the gane, one of the best this season IMO.

We need VN to congregate to an area haha.

I'll most likely be there for MTSU as well. I have loads of fun every time. Too bad every game isn't this cheap for such awesome seats. I'd go and cheer like no other every game.

Does anybody know if the $10 tickets with no reserved seating thing will continue throughout the tourney?

Yeah, I was shocked by the atmosphere... better than most games in the regular season at less than half capacity. The visitors were a rowdy bunch. Entertaining though.

Got there at around 6:00, sat right behind the media tables behind the goal. Best seats I've ever sat in (Including the SS, something about all the Camermen/Cheerleaders in front of you. Blocks your view too much)

I hope Hart not only took notice, but participated as well. I was pleasantly surprised as well, when we wanted to be loud, it got loud. Not a bad atmosphere for a Tuesday night in the opening round of the NIT. I hope we can get at least 10k in there for MTSU.

Oh I'll be there. Louder than ever.

A bonus, None of the fans sang that god awful bon jovi song even though the band played it several times. Yet from the rafters through the sound system a song i been wanting to hear was finally played. "We will rock you" Hey band leader take note.

Me and around 15 other people were the "student section" for the night. :)

That's the most I have yelled/cussed at a UT basketball game in my entire life.
