I went back and forth on them from the reveals we got... told myself I would wait until we got to seem them on the field in action.

Glad we won't be wearing those again. Maybe we can get a white version in the future.

I was all for the solid gray.....i think the orange shoulders is a bad look. Maybe it works with white jerseys. I am a HUGE fan of the gray helmets with the smoky mountains silhouette on them

They would make a great high school or women’s softball uniform. Tennessee needs to forget the gimmicks and concentrate on receivers catching the football. That would be time well spent.

Yessir. I've said it several times. We want retro? Then go with one of the best UT uniforms ever. Accept no substitutes!

At first glance I didn't like them. But it grew on me. It's a solid alternate addition. I especially like the throwback thinner helmet stripe. Looks classic.

I'm good with tradition and remembering all the greats who played in orange and white but may have missed out on something different. Orange and white is just a dominating color steeped in tradition. Hope to never see the ugly grey unis again but sure as heck someone will dig them up from the grave.

Obviously, there was a couple of things going on this weekend on our team which raised our collective blood pressure.

For Uniforms, I did attend a game back in Butch Jones era when the “Smokey Gray’s” were introduced. What our team wore this weekend (a mix between gray and orange) really didn’t do anything for me. I did like the “Smokey Grey” helmet from long ago… just being honest.

Moving Forward (especially in the Swamp), our team certainly has what it takes to come back with a win… and follow it up with an a$$ whipping of SCAR back in Neyland. Just need to clean up our game like our team did last season.

For those who can’t remember, we we’re actually in very close games with Pitt (Johnny Majors Classic part 2) and Florida (checkered Neyland) just last year early on.

Our team delivered what we desired… I’m certainly one who will place my faith in coaching staff and players to continue to provide us with the excitement and pleasure we had seemingly forgotten for over a decade.

Let’s all remember where we were and we we are now… and be thankful for the latter. I’m personally thinking not “running through the “T”was some bad karma.

Beat the heck out of those Gators!

Which is why they are the combination we will wear most often at home. Doesn’t mean it has to be every game. Personally, my favorite uniform is the classic white helmet, orange jersey, white pants look. My second favorite is dark mode.

An analogy:
I love barbecue. I also love shwarma, although not quite as much. Does that mean I want to eat barbecue every meal and never taste shwarma again? Hell no! With those as my options, I’ll eat barbecue 3 or 4 out of every five days and shwarma 1 or 2.

Variety, as they say, is the spice of life.
