I'm probably going to show my ignorance here but what does it matter?

Unless the NCAA is going to come down on him personally, I don't see why he should care.

Has the AA ever gone penalized a coach AFTER he left a program? This would set a precendent and would be a great thing for college athletics but I don't think they can legally go after him now. He is employed by another university. To penalize the coach and new school because of something done at another? This is another lawsuit in the waiting.

In the end, we will bear the brunt of whatever punishment is handed down.

watch Pearl get a show-cause after leaving UT. watch whatever happens to Tressel after leaving tOSU. Not saying that UT will get off scot-free, but Kiff can get hammered, now matter where he is!

I suspect that UT and the SEC both were able to show documentation of where they educated and disciplined Kiffin for his actions.

Hamilton may be lacking as an AD, but the one thing bean counters are great at is documentation. If Hamilton failed to do this then both football and basketball are toast and may be the reason for the timing of the "inevitable."
