Bruce wants this....Bruce says that......Bruce thinks this....You speak as if you are at practice daily and with the team on a regular basis. If so, that post just ended that, lol. And if not (the more likely) then what information do you have that will adequately support your claims?

Nope. I speak as if I read his quotes, listen to him in press conferences, and watch his team play. Here's an example from when Maze was hitting 19%:


“He is a much better shooter than that,” said Pearl. “When Bobby shoots the ball I expect it to go in. Even at 19 percent right now, it’s not characteristic of how good a shooter he is.

“He’s clearly in a slump. He’s clearly thinking about it. And I don’t even want him to hesitate. He’s getting good shots.

Obviously he needs to make a couple before he feels good about it.”



He says things like this on a regular basis.

When he signed Woolridge he said: "His ability to shoot the ball from three with great range and his length as a defender on the perimeter will be a greater asset with the three-point line moving back next season." This is (according to Pearl's on words) the role Pearl recruited him to play.

And even without any of that: unless Pearl is a much worse coach than I give him credit for, the fact that some mediocre 3 point shooters put up a bunch of 3s YEAR AFTER YEAR is intentional.
