Thoughts on this quote from Saban

Dan Harralson posted this: After playing Heupel's coaching tree earlier this season, Saban discussed the offense with better personnel. "They’re sort of challenging with some of the things that they do - we’re going to play teams that are much more physical, aggressive and talented than what they are.”

I take this as fighting words especially the last part. Thoughts?
All we heard about before the Pitt game was how much more physical they were than UT and especially on the LOS. UT was the far more physical team. Similar things were said before UF and LSU... specifically LSU.

UT is a physical team. UT's "aggression" is within the scope of their system on O. More aggression on D has been a point of emphasis for Heupel. The talent... kind of agree. What Heupel is doing is pretty amazing. For the first time in all of my time as a Vol fan going back to the early 90's... UT has a coach who gets more out of a roster than the sum of the talent of its parts. A LOT MORE.

I think we are playing with good old house money. I think Saban knows it and he is in a paralysis of analysis mode at the moment. Not the typical pre week Saban Tennessee talk we have heard in the past. The BY comments or no comments and the Cheetah Defense are head games. Saban is talking too much which makes me think he knows he is in a run for money on Saturday. He is the Penny Hardaway of College Football to a degree.
He is an average coach. Heck he stated after last year's loss to Georgia that turd was in a rebuilding year. He threw the db's and backup wr's under the bus after the game. Heck he is the db coarch at turd. Never gets blamed. Now to this year. They were suppose to be coming off a rebuild? Barely skated at texas and almost lost to a bad texas a and m team without young. They are not as good as last year's team in my opinion. But nick never gets blamed for anything - like other head coaches do. Why because everyone feels he is a goat- shift he has always had the best players at turd. That is changing and why little man threw a fit this summer. He is average like the rest but keep sucking his rock and kissing his ring. Screw him and put it to him and the turd vols. Step up.

Eh no. Dude has owned us his entire career. Not only beating us but curb stomping, destroying us. Probably the greatest coach in the history of the game and he has a huge ego. That's not exactly someone you demand respect from.

I'm sure our team is secure enough in their play, that any little slight or gamesmanship will not ruffle their jimmies.

Anything that comes from Saban's mouth, real or imagined, is BS and coach speak.

Pay him no mind. At the end of the day he is a spoiled brat.

He cried when he got beat in recruiting last season by the Aggies.

He has hated the hurry up trend and spreading the ball out on offense since it took root several years ago.

He whined about that too then turned around and started running it after Clemson knocked him out of a title.

Found the article on Volswire. The coach is Anthony Tucker, he was CJH's running back coach at UCF and is Utah State's OC and QB coach. They try and run CJH offense, with the speed and wide splits.. Saban said that Bama will be playing better, more aggressive, and more physical teams then Utah State in the future. This is probably a reference to UT..

We don't have near the number of 4/5 star players (we have 26) as Bama (73), Georgia (67), Ohio State (65) or Clemson (51) and I think that's all he was saying. We do have a coaching staff that gets the most out of the talent we have and that should be obvious to all these young HS recruits. Come to Tennesse and get coached up.
