Someone posted this pic of LNS before CTV in 2017.
Looks so different

We attended the very last home game before CTV was hired on May 20, 2017. I think you could safely say the crowd was sparse, but we were able to take in the game from every vantage point! We were battling to go to Hoover but were swept by Missou.

I don't have any pictures but my basevols memories start with Coach Delminico, Simcox and Todd Helton. I attended a baseball camp in Lindsey Nelson a few times in the 1990's. I went opposite field and hit the left field wall. I thought it was gonna go out..my only claim to fame at LNS. Haha

The games were obviously in the summer, no school and the games were played during the day.. lots of fun to watch these games during the day and then go play my own summer games in the evenings.

I think R.A. Dickey was on that team. I remember Helton would start or come in and be a relief pitcher and shut everybody down. He was a good guy. I met him in my neighborhood a few times and he was cool. Didn't have to be nice and no one would have known

The 1995 team was good but couldn't beat cal state Fullerton..which beat the breaks off everybody. They won the series that year.

Interesting that all the west coast teams suck... they used to be powerhouses.

Talk about building an empire at a bottom tier SEC program. First game at LNS, was 4/21/2018 vs TAMU. I paid 20 dollars at the gate to sit behind home plate. The other picture is from this years CWS.

That was my team. I still chat with some of those guys regularly including Todd and RA. Saw Todd not too long ago in town and we had a chance to catch up a bit.

I was in the ShadowLake Texas Roadhouse to watch the final 3 outs.

Also, this great New Era Volunteers hat is the Vols item I wore during this historic summer day that the Volunteers won their first National Championship in College Baseball.
