What's really ironic is that on 9-11 my Dad was about to hop on a plane in Cincinnatti when everything got grounded? He's got really bad timing when it comes to terrorist threats.

You referenced "People in this country living with their heads in the sand". Been around and seen many different perspectives. Do not live with my head in the sand as I would guess many on this board do not. Some of the "older" members have served and have been on the other side of the fence and this why they have the opinions and beliefs they do.

No problem I do not take offense. I just don't think the first response to what could have been an awful event, should be taking shots at the current administration, and I am not even a Bush fan. I do think their is an element in this country that sees the US as the problem, and that is what irritates me.

I had just listened to someone explaining the threat levels and their color codes and it sounded a little silly.

I am happy to have a conversation. I do not have a Young Republican chip by the way. I do not find people having intentions to blow up passenger airliners funny.

I find that people in this country have their heads stuck in the sand as to who the enemy is the repulsive part.
