Throw the bag at Jalon Daniels

People don’t realize just how perfect Hooker was for this offense. He made quick decisions, was accurate, threw at different velocities incredibly well, and had the wiggle to turn a sack into a 6-7 yard gain when the big play wasn’t there and most of all he was an extension of the coach on the field. I told a lot of my friends after the end of the season that I never thought we would get better QB play than we got from Hooker. He had likely played his way into a top 10-15 pick until he got hurt

Forget throwing a bag at anyone. When are we gonna learn?
Ohio State has proven throwing the bag at players works. We have to ask ourselves what are they doing differently than us? They, on top of paying big money for players, also have the lowest PPR (Player Portal Rate) in the Nation. So they are keep talent.

We need to continue to throw the bag at players but also evaluate why we have having retention issues.

Nico is an anomaly because we weren’t aware his father and camp were as toxic as they are.

OSU may prove how successful throwing money to enough of the right guys can be. Our Nico deals proves it can not only not be successful, but counter-productive. Hoping for a Hooker level acquisition, may not be sexy up front. A room with guys that fit the scheme and personnel COULD do nicely.
