I don't watch a ton of NASCAR but I notice there are a bunch of empty seats. Is this common?

It is freaking awesome. Best track around. Good news for everyone, I got real sick last night, and never revised my picks. There will be a new points leader tonight.

Last time I was there was there for a race was in '92 came in on leave from Germany...but I drove on it 6 years ago (Isuzu Rodeo...and you only get about 12 degrees of that banking) when they open it up with the Christmas lights. Best track in NASCAR by far

I was there for the Nationwide race yesterday. It's never crowded for the Saturday race but it seemed extra vacant yesterday. Looks like it's a little more crowded today there.

Yea I cant beleive how many empties there are...that August ticket is still a hot one...
You saw a good race on Saturday, caught the last 40 laps

They had it opened up to the middle groove this year. Nothing like watching minivans come neck and neck to the line off of 4.

Concrete + Bristol = blows ,,old track was way better.imo...Martinsville and Richmond are my favs

I heard that Peyton was at the race! Any truth to that? Never been to a race at Brsitol but been by the track several times, stopped a couple of times and there was a back up to tour the track.

Bristol racing stinks now. Had tickets for 10 straight years and started having problems getting rid of them (I had 16 to Spring and 12 to Fall event without having to buy the other races) So glad I got rid of them as you can't give them away. Had many good times at that track but ever since they re-paved it has been well, just racing.

it's hot that weekend, but not because of the ticket. they're super easy to get too.

I went to both races this past weekend. I had a blast, its something I've always wanted to do. The crowd was smaller than I expected at the track, but tailgating was pretty awesome. I'd love to go back for the night race.

I couldn't believe that there was so many empty spots in our area yesterday. Bruton says rain, but that doesn't explain 60,000 people.
