Yeah. Lord forbid a few folks here should have to eat some crow concerning Coleman.

I'm sure everyone hopes Coleman has a great year and we all get to eat crow, but the fact remains that he got torched by WR's last year worse than a mattress when Kiffin left town.

"John Jancek said Curt Maggitt or Chris Weatherd would be the third LB in the 4-3 look."

RTI

So, it's safe to assume that both will be on the field at the same time in a 4-3 set? One at LB & the other at DE? Probably Maggitt at LB & Weathered at DE even though Maggitt will probably be officially listed as a DE on depth charts?

Our #1 and #2 are only getting half the reps in individual drills while USU QBs are stealing the other half! The huge manatee!!

Gillespie said Derrell Scoot is day-to-day.

Jancek said Tennessee has to have "a contingency plan" in regard to size at DT.

Anyone know what Scott's specific injury is? He seems to be back and forth in the hole. Must be some sort of ankle or knee tweak that won't quite heal with all the practice....

I knew that Wegzyn (sp?) guy was suspicious!

Also, he is building chemistry with our receivers that should belong to Worley! Only so much chemistry to go around!

Coleman got beat but so did Sutton.... so does every DB. There's just a herd mentality here that's annoying. A poster can condemn a kid like Coleman beyond anything reasonable... and people will follow and eventually just accept the criticism as "common knowledge".

One thing that was out there last fall is "Coleman is slow". But Coleman isn't slow. He may not have a CB's hips. He may not have the right instincts. He may not be "quick". But he's NOT slow. His straight line speed is pretty good. Much better than say P Waggner who was a pretty good cover guy in spite of being slow.
