Mcrae looked really good. Can't believe there is not nore buzz about him. He bulks up and he could be in the nba in 3 or 4 years. Good ball handler good shot very athletic. I like mcrae a lot. Looks like a bigger jujuan smith.

Scotty looked like scotty. Extremely athletic, weak ball handling, hot/cold shooting and choked at the line when the annoying pa announcer brought up the elite 8 with scotty going to the line to ice. Of course he misses the second followed by a big gasp from the crowd.luckily going threw it right back to him with a chance to tie.

Brian williams looked bad against players 5 inches smaller from the likes of rhone state. Not to much to worrie about though since brian never seemed like the type of guy to go all out in a rtl game

The one thing I did like from scotty was the fact he wanted to win very badly. The best players of all time want to win everything wether its rtl ping pong in the locker room or the the elite 8. Not sure if scotty hates lousing (ala jordan) or loves the spot light ala (wilt). Now don't get me wrong, scotty is not even an nba 2nd rd pick but if he can become as competitive as possible that is good for us.unfortunately he probablybjust wants the spotlight and would rather avg 30 and miss the tourney then avg 10 and win it all.

Lofton got hot and hit lik 10 for 14 from 3 with like 7 in a row and one point. Was awesome to relive the lofton 3pt excitement and made me wonder just how good that 07 team could have been if it weren't for loftons cancer. Lofton obviously has recovered and should make a lot of money playing euro ball for the next 10. Also have seen him everyday of summer school in haslem (the new business building) so I assume he is getting his mba. Definitely happy for lofton after what he had to go through.

Anyways, I'm about to be drunk pre gaming for the nome and usually can write a lot when I'm drunk so I hope u all enjoyed my rtl review and ill see whoever is going to the bars tonight in a little bit. Go vols!

Good post Scottyhop. I agree about McRae. He's very athletic and I believe he has a lot of upside.

It's funny you mention JaJuan Smith. When I first saw McRae he reminded me a lot of JaJuan, only taller.

Love hearing that comparision. If JaJaun was 6'6 he would be in the NBA.

No matter how many times I look it up, I always manage to find a creative way to misspell JaJuan's name. It has been corrected. My apologies.

McRae just looks like a stud baller. He has everything you want athletically. And his anticipation for blocking shots is a great skill.
