Ticket Availability for Utah State Game Day

I always buy my tickets for the home openers from the UT ticket office, but I'm starting to think that it's a better deal to just buy them on the street.

You'll have no problem getting a ticket outside the stadium. There are always a few 'singles' being scalped.

I'm one of those people who simply can't go to a game without my ticket 'in hand'. I'd fret and worry myself to death! As you get older you crave security...guess that's me! (As you drive down Neyland Drive, with the river on your left, there are always several guys holding up signs that say 'TICKETS'...that's pretty far away from the stadium, quieter, less hectic and no pressure to buy. I'd look there first.)

ticket office will have tickets on sale July 1 if you want to just go through them.

I didn't call the ticket office but on uttix.com it says that single game and mini-plans will be on sale July 15th.

I did get a letter from UT yesterday offering me additional season tickets, if I wanted them, with no additional donation required. Pretty good seats, too; lower level north and south end zones.

Tickets for games against lesser opponents are usually very reasonable outside the stadium. There is an exception - the first home game. Too many are starved for any football and they are curious about the new team.

I think a couple years ago either against UT Martin or Montana there weren't many people scalping tickets and quite a few people had trouble finding some.

Could you elaborate a little more? You are saying it is quite easy to get cheap tickets outside of stadium on game day. I remember selling one once and the guy who sat next to me said he paid less than I sold it for. I am just thinking of driving down by myself. The cheapest I can find online is about $40 for an upper deck seat which includes a service charge. I am thinking I may be able to get lower level for less than that outside the stadium. Thanks for all input, guys!

Price will drop as you get closer to game date

Already secured mine, upper part of the lower bowl, near the 20-30 yard line on the Tennessee side, can't wait :D Would you all think that with the hype surrounding this team, the renewed excitement, and the fact that this is a big holiday weekend, we'll break 100k attendance?

Where did you get them and how much were they.
I thought they didn't go on sale until July 1st?

bout 10 minutes after kickoff, you can have choice of the tickets the scalpers have left for 20$.. that's how I usually get into games I don't have a ticket for before hand. Get even cheaper then that sometimes. I saw a couple games last season for 10$. Like I said wait till game starts if you want cheap...

The opener will be rocking. I think you'll find tickets, but I think you'll miss kickoff if your looking for a deal. Usually the season opener scalpers hold out a bit longer.

One of my problems right here. I can't stand not being in there for the T, and the kick.

With it being a Sunday night game and the day after boomsday there will be a great crowd. Well over 100k. Plus with it being a decent opponent should help too

I couldn't find any on the street for last years home opener cheaper than $75. Most wanted over $100 and that was 5 minutes before kickoff

I once shared season passes with a friend. Since she passed away , I started taking my sons to games, and we usually buy them right before the games... cheap to really cheap:) Now in a year or 2 when we start winning big... well now, that is another story. But I have never ever had a problem getting tickets cheap. Never have paid over $40 per ticket and I have never missed a kickoff or pregame show.

Could some of you who have the experience tell me if I would have any trouble getting a ticket to the Utah State game if I just drove down from Bristol on game day? Since it's on a Sunday night, would that improve the availability? And do you think the price would be reasonable if you were willing to sit anywhere? Thanks in advance!

can't be predicted IMO. opening games are hard to know.

One year, tickets were going for 100 for New Mexico St in opening game. The next week versus Auburn you couldn't sell a ticket for 10 bucks.

I had 6 but ended up selling them all and now I kinda wish I would've kept the pair from my season tickets. Do you guys still think people like me and the OP could scalp on gameday and pay under face if I waited until kickoff?

I know there are still quite a few tickets left in the south upper deck and the secondary market is always an option but I really don't want to pay face to sit there and prices are way too high on stubhub.

I got 5 in z13 row 20 for $450 about 3 weeks ago. Have they gone even higher??

I haven't looked for the Utah state game. I was looking for Florida and Georgia. I know they are more expensive but I don't think they should be that much more.

The rest of the Florida & Bama single-game tickets go on sale on August 19th through UTTIX

You will be able to get tickets the day of but you kind of have to play it by ear. If the scalpers seem to have a lot of tickets left then wait as long as you can and you will get them dirt cheap. If they seem harder to find then you might have to get what you can get. It hasn't been a problem in recent years but with the excitement for this home opener it could be tougher.
