I did this once when it started to rain at the French Open, stood at the exit and everyone was giving me their tickets because it looked like the rain wasn’t gonna let up. Well it did, and it was a huge match at center court with Jimmy Connors and Yannick Noah. I started selling tickets for face value, made $800. As a 16 year old in 1980 that felt like a million dollars.Another idea: after the first game on Saturday and someone is getting sent home, stand outside and try to buy their tickets @Volstylexx
In college I got in Wimbledon that way, but I only got a ticket for me (didn’t think about asking for extras). Ends up my ticket was embossed “Member AEL&TC,” as in All England Lawn & Tennis Club. A member gave me her ticket. I was on the front row of Court No. 1 for freeI did this once when it started to rain at the French Open, stood at the exit and everyone was giving me their tickets because it looked like the rain wasn’t gonna let up. Man, was hoping we would have a shot at tickets. Looks like they did it like Supers last season. May try and make it down for some of the non Tennessee matchups/block party to take in the atmosphere. The secondary market looking too rich for my blood
