Tickets for Sale or Free

I am whining about tickets over in the A&M thread. If you don't have tickets and want to be there I would highly suggest you just come to the park and go in on an SRO ticket. Maybe it'll be different when Vanderbilt is here but for today there's going to be a seat for you. You may get a seat behind home plate for your 10 bucks you spent on SRO ticket.

That’s a great point. Definitely wondering when attendance will pick up. Could be possible that if we are not stomping everyone like we did last year, the big donors with tickets may not be showing up much.

I get amazed at those who complain about tickets and yet there are tickets almost every game. One guy told me I only want to go to the big ones which are Florida and Vandy. I said good luck.
Well, I am hunting tickets to a “big one”, not because it is big, but because I’m in town.
Planning to bring the boys in to visit Grandma for Easter. Would love it if anyone had tickets to let go of on Good Friday or Easter Saturday. Yes, it is a big ask, but it is worth a shot. I spent enough time on the crappy concrete bleachers that predated LNS that I figure someone might smile upon me. 5 gets the family in, 6 gets grandma in, too. 😁

Pretty sure the majority of the empty seats on Saturday were tickets available on Ticketmaster and not sold. Saturday morning I looked at the number of just sets of 2 tickets available, and I counted @ 200 tickets. Majority of people bought to re-sell, with no intention of coming to the games or bought because it the "in" thing to say you have baseball season tickets and not attending either. Maybe the Vandy and Florida series will be different. We will see....

The new Ticketmaster system makes it easier to track who is selling tickets. I wonder at some point when it becomes clear that someone is really just selling tickets that they could lose them at renewal time.

A few weeks ago I found old emails from the school about season tickets and packages. The season ticket emails were 10 to 12 years old. I converted them to PDF, but don’t know how to post a PDF.

The SEC Six Pack was six tickets for $20. That was near the end of CDS.

During the lean years sometimes ticket takers would wave me in. We’d have rows to ourselves.

Taking the peewee and coach pitch teams I coached cost something like $2-$3 a ticket probably as recent as six years ago. I was called like clockwork by the ticket office.

Hey, @Freak is there a way to post a PDF?

have you tried adding it as an attachment? I'm not positive, but I think that should work. Let me know.

SEC tournament groups of tickets went on sale this morning. There are no reserved seats but you can buy the group or bundles of tickets at a reduced cost.
I picked some up. Why were there no reserved seats?

Someone said they reduced the number of overall reserved seats but increased the number of individual seats they sold. I'm guessing they can make a lot more money and don't care if they oversell for certain games. If LSU and UT were in the championship, they would be in trouble. I don't think everyone would fit in there and I don't know what they would do if you showed up at the gate with a ticket in hand.

Anybody got an extra ticket for tonight - UNCA
Never mind. Forgot I was on call this week

I think preference has always been given to long-time buyers for the SEC tournament. Preferential for those who’ve consistently supported the tournament kind of thing. Last year, I sat on the 2nd row of the SEC championship game behind the Vols’ dugout at a very reasonable price. Also had very good seats behind the plate for that late night LSU game at a reasonable price. Research will help you snag some good tickets without paying an arm and a leg. Maybe just one appendage.

I hope someone takes these. I do not want to sell outside gate or put on market.
LSU
Thursday 1 GA
Friday 3 GA
Saturday 1 GA
I'll take two for Friday if that works. I have several days off in a row and I'm trying to wild-hair a last minute trip for me and an adult son. Was thinking on racing down for Thu game but it would be harder and you only have the one ticket. Never imagined I'd score tix for either of the weekend games. We will come repping the Vollie Fingers jerseys!
