Tickets not exactly selling like hotcakes for championship games

I mean if I was in the Indianapolis metro, even ad a complete neutral, I feel like it’s a no-brainer for that price. But then I’m a college football sicko like most on this board.
I can walk from work to the SECCG in about 10 minutes. If the Vols aren't in, I wouldn't go for free.

At least they won it all. That helps a bit.

It certainly did.

I waited too long to book a flight, but I knew there was no way in hell George Mason could hang with us.

So I made that drive with the mindset that I’d see us play for a national title, worst case.

Winning it all would be gravy.

That gravy was delicious, but the drive was absolutely painful.

The bowl people won’t let that happen: too much money. On campus games are the best part of the new CFP though.
Yeah I know that Columbus Ohio and South Bend Indiana are two of the first places I think of when holiday bowl season rolls around.

It will be for the two teams playing! Hmm
I am old school. Bowl games were about going some place fun and most of the time, warm and sunny. But I guess TV is where it's at. So home field advantage will become more and more of a factor as this thing matures, because who in hell wants to go to either of those places for a bowl game as a visitor? At least we have the Smokies. South Bend has.... ooooh Chicago.
