In this era, we're so used to seeing kids commit and decommitt so easily because they are committing to the coach versus playing for the school. I know Ferguson isn't rated as a high-value player (for all you star-gazers), but, it is just nice to see some of these guys commit because they want to play for the school.

Ferguson's quote on the (inevitable, IMO) coaching change:
Im worried about it, of course, Ferguson said. Hes the head coach and stuff like that. It just worries me right now, but they havent fired him or nothing like that, so Im not really listening to anything until something actually happens.
But Im committed to Tennessee for Tennessee. I mean, the coaches there, you have to like them and stuff, but Im going there because of the school.
I mean, its going to affect me a little bit, but I dont know if that would change my decision or anything like that.
He said he would be interested in getting to know the Vols new coaches if Dooley isnt retained. But he said he doesnt have any interest in exploring other options, and he doesnt expect to waver on his commitment.
If that does happen, Ferguson said, Ill just have to get close to the coaches that come in and just start working with them so we can go win some games.
