Kiffin & Co only had a month & 1/2 to recruit and try to develop relationships with these kids when other schools have been recruiting them for 2 years now. We are definitely at a disadvantage this year. I think they have done a fantastic job with the amount of time they had. We will turn a few but next year.....Look Out!

it is truly amazing what this staff accomplished in such a short time, however, I dont believe that it is enough to seal the deal with several of these guys. I agree that next year is our year.

Most are now saying Phillips is leaning towards going to Auburn, Freak. Anything could happen though.

Digging a little deeper...

Some "insider" said that Kiffin stressed to Nukeese that the offense would be built around him and the ball would be in his hands as much as possible the moment he steps on the field.. also says that Nukeese silently committed to Kiffin at the bball game

Well the mood has turned completely positive since yesterday evening when everyone was SOOOO sure that we were going to strike out with everyone. That still might be the case, but it just goes to show you how up and down recruiting is and that you never know what is going to happen. So, to take some things so hard or get too excited is silly, to put it lightly.

some guy on scout who claims he lives in florida (ut fan) and goes to high school with Nukeese.. ofcourse everyone is an insider right now.. i wouldnt have posted it tho had he not sounded like he knew what he was talking about.. he even went into detail about kiffin showing the recruits the field and locker room and videos on the jumbo tron in neyland
